you know, if these are the real deal cars, (i haven't watched the videos yet) i've always wondered why they don't put them to better use? instead of destroying them to the point of not driveable/partable anymore, why not give it to me? i will gladly accept. :)

I'm too lazy to go find it, but there is a link here somewhere to a site that is selling the CGT that was used in that clip.

I hope they do some editing because the CGT crash scene looked terrible. When a car crashes the laws of physics need to be obeyed...

Looks like a crap movie too

There is a member on here who is friends with the producer and I remember him saying they took out the engine, and all that. The producer hates the CGT, I think I recall hearing that it tried to kill him. That's why they crash that car..

Oh man, they shouldve gave me the CGT. I wouldn't mind if the car tried to kill me. Just tweak it here and there, and it would LOVE me. I didnt watch the videos, but the movie sounds like its going to be lame.

How exactly would you make a movie like this without it being lame?

    Sounds good to me :)

I meant, by all other peoples reactions and comments, as well as in other forums. They all are "dissing" the movie. So thats why, plus it's FnF style. Only car movie, well not only, but my favorite car movie is: Gone in 60 Seconds.

The CGT crash is really convincing especially how it magically changes direction and shifts all of it's momentum randomly in mid-air.

From what I've seen, the movie looked really dumb, and I won't be watching it. nice cars though.

Above is a good clip. Movie is basically a "Fast and Furious" with exotics instead. I think I will wait till video maybe even cable. The clip has a Nice Carrera GT, Saleen S7, Ferrari Ezno, Merc SLR....and a Koenigg towards the end?

Well if he can afford to crash a real CGT he OBVIOUSLY doesn't need my money to see his terrible movie!

Probably because he didn't know how to drive it. He's probably into the "easy" exotics, like an SLR.

    What an idiot.

The original is fun to watch, but nothing like the new one. It's very different from most any movie I've seen style wise and such, but it's an interesting different.

The Diablo is a big fake. You can even see the fakeness in the trailer. I suppose the movie industry buys those kit cars we see on eBay.

If the CGT is real, then it's only done for advertisement. Imagine, 14 year olds saying to each other that a REAL CGT was used to film a crash! Obviously it was written off, but think of the marketing dollars. Again, I don't think it was real, as that would be a very stupid thing to do, and one more reason for me not to see this POC movie, but if it was, then what a waste. Considering the shot with the CGT looked stupid and fake, it wasn't worth it.
