ha - my first car was a Mercury Bobcat, even the Pinto was more exciting than that! It's a long story - snapped it's timing belt in the first week, when driving home from the orthodontist with new braces and couldn't speak . You could always migrate sideways from your Cavalier to join us Honda drivers. I think Salar's at '94 and I'm still back in '92. Smart move with the bike, though, if it keeps you and others alive. I know I'd kill myself on a bike, so I keep to cars and bicycles (healthier too, I think).
Maybe just need to wait for the roads to be dry. I'm pretty sure I saw an old ratty 348 in Coquitlam yesterday
Sorry Tom I wouldnt go that low as to getting a Honda My Cavalier has been very reliable with no complaints. I just want something a little more entertaining to drive daily. My Fiero has been in the shop for 4 weeks ....its not a daily driver, just a summer toy. I wish I still had my bicycle...someone stole it out of my garage a few years back...I miss that thing....
yeah - that dirty thing. You missed the very clean TR about 30 minutes earlier - that'd be a much better picture
Jeez - the insults! 4 weeks? crikey - hope you're not paying for storage and service. Sorry Salar, I thought you were living in high style, my mistake.
yeah, well - you know how TR's go. There's not many that get driven near daily. See that thread here about 328GTS ownership. Maybe that's how she stays so clean. The owner had his previous TR down to California for Monterey once, and fairly often out on the Coqihalla. TR's just aren't much fun around town being so heavy and wide, and only able to use the first two gears... Kind of like Furious_Phil with his sport bikes, that last bit Salar - you're right, I was passenger that day, but after driving the TR and getting some rev's out of her, it was a fair trade. Phil knows the road! I see my insurance is restricted to drivers with min. 10 years driving experience, hmmm...
relatively new - came out a few years ago. I save a few $'s on each car agreeing that only drivers with 10+ years experience will sit behind the wheel - unless it's a medical emergency. I'm not sure, but I suspect that psychotic car-lust might qualify as a medical emergency?
yes - pics please - dirty exotics are a rare and beautiful thing! I love Lotii I'm not sure what a filthy British girl would be into - does she whisper vulgarities to you late at night?
hahaha well here's where the dirt accumulates on an elise. these flares just get rocked with debris, so thank goodness for 3M protection film. looks like this is the only image i have on this comp, so i'll post a better one tomorrow. by the way, i noticed some sightings of a detomaso pantera lately. anyone know who owns it? my favourite car of all time and i've still never seen one in person.
Panteras are farely common in the summer time. The Ferrari show usually has several show up. They are really neat cars!
I remember the one is june is somewhere around father's day and the other one i have no clue about, but there will also be some Ferrari's at the Auto show @ BC Place (March 31st - April 8th)
