    I'm trying to find what I think was one of the best post I've ever read on any car chat site. It was describing the owners experience on a drive of a 308 carb car; shifting through the gears, letting it warm up; opening the windows and smelling the gear oil, and ending with the satisfication of the drive.
    it just summarized to sensual joy in driving these cars

    can anyone point me to where it is?

    did a search, there are alot of threads with Le Mans. any other info on the thread?
