Actually the FX and the 456 Spider can be "enjoyed" by the public: Just visit the Marconi museum in Calif. Marconi's collection btw deserves also an honorably mention in the world's greatest Ferrari collections.

He has assembled a truly GREAT collection although my singular encounter with him was not impressive. I was selling my old 166 and he basically called me an idiot for trying to get what I was asking. He may have all the toys, but that does not entitle him to treat people like they are lesser than themselves. I ended up with two parties that were willing to pay what I thought was right, so apparently I was not off the mark. - George

A quick link to a small article on Jays 6 favorite cars that he owns.I don't believe the common man/cars rationale, that link shows his McLaren F1...

Thanks, I was over it by the time the phone was back in the craddle, it is just interesting how people get so full of themselves. I hope I don't act like that once I know everything! - George

Jay doesn't strike me as a person who uses his cars to flaunt his wealth/prestige/accomplishments - that's pure Ferrari 'mystique', not Jay's personal mantra. He is VERY down-to-earth, so much so that his apperances at 'haute' Pebble Beach look very strained and uncomfortable for him. His interest in sports cars appears to be grounded in driving fast, driving crazy/unique machines (see his tank-engine car, jet-powered motorcycle, or his VAST collection of period steam-powered autos) and having fun- and that's it. He doesn't feel obliged to 'worship' a particular marque, especially one that has snubbed him in the past. I would wager a guess that his interest in Lamborghini hinges on the fact that Lamborghini was created in the first place after a 'snub' from Enzo Ferrari - something Jay identifies with on a personal level. Wish I could meet the guy...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_vehicles_owned_by_Jay_Leno, he really doesn't have many modern cars that stand out though. Other than the Bugatti and the McLaren, he doesn't have any real ultra-supercars.

Leno didn't pronounce Porsche (pore-sha) correctly last night. He said what most Americans say porshhhhhh.

Hope he knows better and is just pandering to the ignorant American audience.

Jon Shirley has the most amazing in my opinion
    Some more pics
    http://threefourfive.com/blog/dave/2005/03/shirley-garage-incredible-ferrari-and.html

Or Fchat's own 410SA. I still haven't seen any pictures of ArtZ's cars, can somebody post? I always hear about the F50 GT but have never seen it.

There's a guy in Indianapolis who comes to our cruises... every cruise he brings a different car :D So far a 275 GTB/4, F430, Daytona, and Ford GT.. who knows what else he has. Another guy in Indy has more than 78 cars, although most of them aren't Ferraris.

I have heard Bernie Ecclestone has an incredible collection of Ferraris

Also a gentleman named Jerry Moore from what I have heard has over 100 Ferraris including multiple examples of some of the more exciting models I need to see what I can dig up on this collection.

Is Jerry Moore the guy in the USA that has a bunch of each model? ie: Testarossa's in all colours etc.... sitting around still new? I've read about someone like that here on f-chat a while ago.

At a time he had 5 F40s and 39 Testarossas, over 100 Ferraris and the whole collection was about 800 cars.
