The car he was talking about in the post you quoted was his black/red Testa Rossa.

I'm not sure what the rest of your post is referring to other than the rim size. That I do not know. I would assume 20, but then again don't quote me on that.

Why Autobild used F60 is beyond me.

    20 inch is correct.

The kind rap-loving gentlemen on the other forum would suggest rims a foot bigger than that.

The reason for F60 would be that 2007 is the 60th birthday of the prancing horse i suppose??

    Hmm,

Was wondering something Jim. I recall pictures of your yellow Enzo before the transformation, with the shipping plastic still on it. Did you ever drive it as an 'Enzo' before taking it to Pininfarina? If not, have you ever driven an Enzo in Enzo form? Curious question.

    ;)

The Enzo was originally red. It was never driven by Jim, it was bought then immediately shipped to Pininfarina. Still with the plastic on the car.

I see. Could have sworn it was yellow... how did I get that idea?

I wonder if Pagani would consider a custom coach-build? Bugatti to allow a collector a design all his own around the best of the best? Of course this hits the same key as William Fioravanti doing a 'cut-off' version with Super 220... We all have seen by now that Spyker has done a lil' collaboration with Zagato (not to say it turned out well.) Its clear that automotive companies are open to the idea of re-design, after all, it promotes the marque as far as innovation is concerned. All about the 'Power look.' ;)

Leave it to Pininfarina to create such a piece as the P4/5, Castriota hits the ball again without fault. A modern-retro scheme that directly links the modern technological influences of Formula 1, whilst recalling a storied history atop the podium.

We are finding a shift in automotive design, as to throwback the onlookers and buyers alike into a sort of 'good-ol-days' ideal, while at the same time allowing us no lax in the technological innovations of late. This modern-retro feel is selling and selling. Many ask for originality in the design of an "automobile so expensive..." though my thought has always been that one needs as much originality to re-design, as to create something completely new. Modernization as opposed to modern-design stands now as a well founded motif.

I can feel like a child and drive the top of the top at the same time? Where do I sign... This is the genius. Let countless Ford GTs sit for a $150K re-sale tag in showrooms around the U.S. from those who pitched them for a 599s; but remember that it was the subtlety in design, and the Daytona hints that took us into a better future of design with the GTB. Just as the GT. However, toning it down in a way that demonstrates the most glorious aspects of our past, without taking us there in period dress as well.

Bringing you the best of then, with the best of now. How could one loose?

2K service. We'll be driving her up to Villa d'Est so we may need your help for a wash when we get there.

I wonder what is under the blue tarps in the background? Did you have a look? Also what was that silver car in the background in one of the pics?
