Does anyone know if Carsen (Sports Cars of Atlanta) and Ron Reinke (his Ferrari Tech) can do a good and trusted PPI. I am looking to buy a 1990 TS from the bimmer store in Atlanta and they are the only ones I could find to do the PPI. I live in FL so I need someone I can trust in Atlanta. Unfortunatly Ferrari of Atlanta said they wouldn't a PPI. Thanks, Tom

I met Ron when he was service manager for FOA. He seemed like he knew the cars. That must of been in''96.

With Ron Rieneke down in Flordia and somebody said Jim Weed has closed up shop the only other guy I know in Atlanta from the old FAF is Terry Girone.

Anybody know what happened to Jim Weed (Dr. Honda)?

What kind of car is the big question?????

If it is a newer car , it is likely that only the dealer will have the computer hook-up to read the history and car info.......

For a classic Ferrari, I would recommend Mike Gorley at Continental Coachworks (770.922.8562).

The original poster said it was a "1990 TS" - to me that means a 1990 348TS.

Ron is in fact working for Shelton Maserati in Ft. Lauderdale... He does come back and forth on the weekends... I dont know if he is up for additional work on the weekends since it's the only time he see's his family, however if you would like his contact PM me...

Ron is probabbly the nicest Ferrai tech I've ever met. Very skilled too!

    I would trust his judgement!

    Thanks for the commments

    Ok
Let me clear the air for you guys. I am working in Fl at Shelton I do travel back to Atl on the weekends and work on cars there sometimes.
I did perform the PPI on this 348 which I believe the customer was quite please with the report. The car was a little ruff and was going to need some service to be reliable.

As for needing special tools only the dealer has. Not needed to perform a PPI. Plus the dealer wont perform a PPI something legal I presume.
