When we purchased the C4S , i picked this tyre insurance but i cant find the papers at the moment. Does anyone here know what it covers ? I just got home from Philadelphia and took the Porsche out and 2 miles out, the onboard computer tells me i have a flat tyre..the PSI was dropping like crasy from 34 to less than 4 ..I noticed that i had a hole , but no nail or screw.. Would this insurance just take care of the new tyre ( rear tyre..maybe i ll have to get 2 new tyres..) or does it take care of the flat bed as well ??

Sorry, but it was an In and out. Flew this AM and took the plane around 6. Wasnt even downtown Philly. I was in southampton .
Usually offered in several different types. If you got the "road hazard" warranty it will cover for almost anything. It could have been a manufacturer quality issue and I would explore what the dealer for that tire manufacturer would tell you. If it was road hazard, such as a board, spike, glass or some such you should get full reimbursement.
I called my dealer today and i have the full stuff. Easy care i think. The tyre is gone..nail was very big. Glad i picked that insurance..it would have been $500 as per the dealer..
I always purchase the road hazard warranty. Costs about $15 to $25 per tire and can really pay off. I have used it three times and saved about $500,,,,,
