I was at a wedding at the weekend and gor chatting to a 6 year old car nut called Joe. His knowledge of supercars was incredible. He knew that an F40 was a Turbo'd V8, unlike an F50 or Enzo. He knew an amazing amount of stuff about the Bugatti Veyron. He also asked me some questions most of which I could answer. He had me stumped on a couple though:

    1) What's the biggest Ferrari? I had a guess at the Enzo.

    2) What's the smallest Ferrari? I guessed at the Dino.

    Did I guess correctly?

What a gorgeous little kid. :):)
Sounds about right to me. Would be a toss up with F50/Enzo IMO. :)
Dino would be about the smallest too I reckon. :):)

If you want to get technical wouldn't an F1 ferrari be smaller than a dino? I guess it would depend on if he was thinking dimensions or weight lol. Enzo sounds like a good guess for largest.

His F1 knowledge was quite poor. He likes Valentino Rossi, but seemed surprised to learn that he is not an F1 driver!
He had just that day bought a Porsche Carrera GT which was silver with red seats. He was explaining to me what the wing on the back was for.

The 365 GT 2+2 is higher, longer, and heavier than the Enzo. The Enzo only wins in width, so I would have said the queen mother is the biggest.

For the smallest, and being picky, The 166 MM Barchetta and the other 212 Barchettas are significantly smaller than the Dino in all dimensions

Lucky father of the wonderful 6 year old! My daughters (6 & 8) think my Ferraris are noisy and smelly. The only think they like is the little button that opens the ashtray...

    Cheers,

    Julio

The 612 Scagletti is no small fry.

The smallest is probably one of the 166 variations or this little fella, the 500 Mondial Coupe.

Scaglietti is BIG and HEAVY, but the queen mother still beats it on length and height.

The 500 Mondial coupe is the shortest, but the 166-212 barchetta variations are smaller in the other dimensions.

    Cheers,

    Julio

I think the smallest ever is the Dino 166/206P.

I had the chance to sit in it last year at the SPA Ferrari Days. I am a small guy and had to look over the windscreen or duck my head...the top of the windshield line was just right in my way.

If you're talking about engine displacement and include race cars, the CANAM 712 was and probably will be the largest engine Ferrari made.

And as mentioned above, the 212 is the smallest.

Technically, to determine size, we're talking volume, and the only way to tell, without a computer model is to wrap the ferrari in seran wrap tightly, then imerse it entirely in a vat of a liquid, say, water/mineral spirits, as these are safe and not flammable.....then simply measure volume displaced in liters, and convert to cubic centimeters, for a certain cc size for the Ferrari. No?

I beg to differ, my 1/43 Enzo is barely an inch in length or you could get tricky and say Enzo(the person) was the smallest. Its funny also because little Joey knows more stuff about these cars than some people that own them do.
