Outside, 5, 6, or 7 Gallardos are valet-parked in a row. Yellow, orange, black, yellow, yellow, orange. Much like pretty candy in a store. People keep taking pictures. I've always wondered why people take pictures of parked cars which do not belong to them. Worse, those people who pose beside the cars. Click!

Inside hor the new, barely-opened bar, the people behind those wheels do not quite match up to the visual spectacle outside. Rather unfortunate. Maybe that's why they need all the flash. Conversations are dull, and we don't get their jokes. In between traders and lawyers, much like swimming with the sharks. We decide to leave early, and bid farewell to the table filled with whiskey and champagne. Off to our next stop.

A salute to muai, for being able to look interested all the time.

Nice bullrun pics, gotta love the pic of the 3 Murcie's in a row. That red 666 one is probably my favourite of the bunch.

Just out of curiosity, are there any Ferrari 456's in Singapore? Don't recall ever seeing one or any pic's.

Another set of pics, not much though as I had to leave early :(

At least there's two SEs this trip & a new owner joined us in his pearl-yellow Gallardo which is actually a very nice colour with a deeper & rich tone.

The traffic is unusually bad, too many people going back to city & all those slow turtles on red+P plates made it worse....look if you're not even keeping to authorised speed limit, please don't hog; left-most lanes are meant for slow cruising & please don't forget to signal.

Oh one more thing, the blood orange LP640 looks terrifying when it comes up fast behind you with the black trapezoid headlamps & the opened air-scoops, looks as if it's ready to EAT anything :D

the red one is really a car lover, his old 930 was converted to RUF specs. I guess his wedding present the murci would be just as pampered.

They're usually found on internet (ebay) or the Classified section in this site. Or go order a Capristo, I've told Wilson to go that way as well ;) Maybe even get those test-pipes to replace the cats :D

Speaking of sound. It was quite deafening in the CTE tunnel yesterday as I drove with my windows down most of the time. I can't even hear which is mine but I think mine has gone a little higher pitch, not sure if it's because it's "cleared" as some owners only drive theirs on weekends.

The red Murcie sounds absolutely gorgeous with the after-mkt pipes.

I think the ebay route is great but do be careful on what you want in an exhaust. An exciting exhaust mean different things to different people. Some like it loud while others may prefer a softer note. Or perhaps one that "Opens up" after 4000rpm.
Going with test-pipes may sound nice but will also create alot of in-cabin resonance. Had that in my 355...had many headaches!! :)

I think talking to other 360 owners about their exhaust experience will help alot.

I think it depends on your usage as well. Alfred, like many others don't drive it everyday so a "wild horse" on weekends or nights would be a thrill. Those who use it daily would find loud exhausts a pain.

Bro Alfred, wait till your kids arrive & you'll have almost no time for weekend joyrides :(

Make the best outta it now!

It's in the ST, first few pages today. Getting a RedBull team's driver to test it using a GT3 (don't think it'll be any RSs unless the Cup cars on loan ;) ) from Stuttgart & kept to a legal "speed limit". I don't understand the red-tapes here, if there's enough tourist dollar to seal a deal, the transport minister should just give a green light so all departments from LTA, TP etc to put their act together. It's just a 5km stretch & a quick late night/morning hours closure of the roads would be easily done & not cause too much trouble.

That's the problem here. Too much "legal" hurdles & "kiasi" culture in the civil service. Spend one day or two in a department & you'll see.

If Johor's new "golden zone" DO materialise, we're going to be edged out again & their PM is giving full support this time. The civil service here? Nightmarish, they typically "switch off" @ 4pm not to mention a few tea-time in between.....but the land of Boleh is huge with rich resources, once they get their act together, it'll be a force to reckon.

yes,its in the straits times today, but how will the testing take place?any road closure or will he just drive in the traffic like others?i might going down to have a peek, but not confirmed as i dont know what time it will be starting.

imagine this,F1 in singapore, all F1 teams have to have an IU unit on the car,the cars have to go through ERP gantries in the race,if their cash card is low in value they would have to get into the pits to get another cash card!HAHA.That would be hilarious.Okay enough of rubbish.
