i saw the new bentley continental gt convertible parked up at brio's parking lot at plaza frontenac around 1 today, and i also saw a second one that was all black, just the regular version. i saw the owner of the second one, the guy had an article written about him a while back, iirc. i'll try to find it

 

Saw a black 430, license said F430M on it... it was driving east in the snow at Boones Crossing in Chesterfield, driver appeared solo. Snow was coming down, but it was out. Whose car is that? And who has the audacity to drive it in the snow?

 

i had a rare 2 spot today: i saw that same yellow 360 spider on my way home today, as well as a 308 gtb? (i think it was a gtb) at pei wei on olive tonight.

 

Not a GTB, but close, my wife and I took the 308 to pei wei to pick up our take-out last night...

Thanks, I really appreciate that. She is a little dirty ( the car, not the wife) so next week when I have time I gotta pull out the Griots stuff and give her a good bath (again, the car not the wife). I am sure we will meet at some point, I look forward to it, it's always nice to meet other "car nuts"....

I have put over 300 miles on the car in the last three weeks alone, my wife and a friend of mine (in his Miata) like to go on midnight runs out west of the valley etc...just have to look out for the deer, but what a blast. When we lived out of town, my buddy and I would go out on midnight drives when I came into town to visit...the roads are empty and the temp is nice etc.... last week it was in the mid 40s, we had the roof off, the windows up, heat on, and my wife was wrapped in a blanket...froze our butts off but had a great time.

 

A little nostalgia. You KCMO-KCKS fellows don't know how lucky you are. I lived there from 1978-1982. I lived on Minnesota Ave., KCKS, just up from the seminary. I remember introducing my wife to the area by buying some donuts and coffee and going out to Wyandotte Lake to watch the sun come up. I remember getting a peanut buster parfait and going up on Strawberry Hill to look across at KCMO. I remember standing in line to get into the first showing of Star Wars downtown. I remember Baby Doe's on the hill above KCKS. And, though a great photo of the Plaza lights, just after lighting on Thanksgiving night, still hangs in my bedroom, I will always remember those concerts in summer in the Plaza. I remember the great ribs you could get just about anywhere and the wonderful chicken dinners in KCKS at Mrs. (can't remember her name anymore), Jess&Jim's, sauce from the "smokestack." I remember it all. Cheers!

 

Red F355 Spider spotted on I680 in Omaha.

On a side note why is it that all of the 355s that I see in Omaha are spiders. Not that its a problem or anything .

thanks, unfortunately they were all while i was driving. DISCLAIMER: kids, don't try this at home. i like that 3rd one as well, but i didn't catch as much of the arnage as i would have hoped though.

 

Bentley STL has a beautiful silver 599 in the service area that I saw today.

i had florida over ku, and actually, that mizzou-ku game where moody famously choked on his free throws was the first college bball game i ever went to

 

Out driving the 308 again today, decided to stop at Bentley in the Valley...
Walked around back in time to see a silver 599 as it pulled away. Nice car, one guy at the dealership said that it is the only one in the STL area...Now if I could just convince my wife to live in a car, maybe....hmmm
