Yes, that's how they are under the bumpers, front and rear.

Bertone's design was mercilessly haked to satisfy the insurance company lobby (reduce low speed parking lot bump type damage claims). I wonder how much different the GT4's image would have been (at least in the US) had the bumpers not been changed?

I wonder what the reserve is. At the current price of $13000 this could be a good car. I agree that with some bumpers and removing the speaker and some other minor bits this car could be presentable. I would guess that this car's reserve is in the low 20's, however.

The seller has sold 1400 cars on eBay and only 98 people were upset enough to leave negative feedback. Only 1 in 14 of his transactions result in someone being pissed off enough to leave a red mark on his record. 1 in 14. That's not bad, is it?

As I mentioned in another thread:

On the black ugly "grill" GT4, the hubcaps have the "unobtainium emblems", the Dino emblems/badges.

Assuming they are not repros, how much would those umobtainium hubcaps with emblems cost or be worth?

Considering the yuckiness of that black car, I'm sure it wouldn't be worth the whole car, but its an interesting thought. Buy the black car as a driver, and sell the unobtainium emblem/badges............ Recoup a bunch of money the drive the helloutof the thing.

I'll take $1,000 for the set I have which as far as I know is the only set for sale in the US (I looked for a year).

You know even at $13,000. I think the only way this is a decent deal is if the buyer has a ton of time on his hands and is going to do everything himself. Even then I think you'd be over 20K to get it back to a semi respectable condition. I always think that the stuff we see in the pictures is just that. What other issues or "modifications" are there? A person with as seriously bad taste as this likely "mickey moused" everything he touched on this car. This is scary. You need only look at the horsey under the Dino emblem! Good God man ..... what are you thinking?!

Ultimately I would not touch this car unless I could personally look at it including getting underneath it. Just my .02 cents worth.
