I didn't take it personally, I love cars and love Enzos so it sucks it got wrecked liked that. Being that it's been posted about 5 times on this thread already, we know that the owner is the director and I'm sure he's very passionate about his film, and even though I'm sure it'll do great just for the fact that it's got some great cars in it, and he'll be able to fix it I don't think he's thrilled about the fact that he saw it smeared against concrete.

    That was hilarious.

Did an Alex Yoong understeer into the barrier.

Guy behind the barrier was lucky not to get smacked in the face with debris.

    Love the reporter's comment:

"Griffen was checked out by paramedics at the scene and walked away from the high speed crash."

It looks like he panicked and slammed on the brakes while trying to turn.

Also being in the wrong gear, off the throttle and at full lock tends to do that.

I'm glad everyone is so concerned about Eddie...but am I the only one that noticed he almost killed someone in the process? The guy in the black shirt with the camera standing on the other side of that barrier? I'm assuming hes ok ..??

I think it is a real shame and embarrasment that F-chat posters can abuse the driver for crashing the car, even wish him dead. Given it was a FRIGGEN CHARITY EVENT and the FACT that the owner realises theres worse things in life than a wrecked exotic car, i think some of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

    GET A LIFE YOU TOSSERS!

This one was rebuilt. That one is far from totalled.
IMHO a charity event is one that raises $ for a charity or gives sick kids a ride. This was a movie promotion.

Losing it. Spinning. Locking up. Pranging who there among us hasn't done something stupid?

Happily he's fine, no cameraman were killed and the car can be fixed in a week.

Fixing this ****ed up world of ours is a bit more complicated.

This was Eddie Griffin's last words before hitting the concrete wall..

I'm sure the producer knew what could happen if he gave the car to an inexperienced driver.

Hopefully the movie will make enough money so Mr. Sadek can buy another CGT and Enzo to replace his old ones!

Wow. That was hard to watch. Thank god he didn't kill anyone. He appeared to be fully locked and completely off the throttle into that corner- I wonder if he even bothered running a low-speed practice lap?

That azzhole didn't even flinch. I don't think he "almost killed" anyone.

I love threads like this because all the "he can't drive" & "he was too inexperienced to be driving such a machine" types come out of the woodwork, with all their BS and theories. How many people on this thread are familiar with Eddie's driving ability? REALLY? For all you know, he might be able to take you to the track and school your azzes. What is truly funny is that every driver has made stupid mistakes, yet people on this board insist on ragging on people who make driving errors. How many people on this thread can TRULY SAY that they have NEVER gone into a corner a little too hot, or made some other mistake in a car and ended up either with an expensive lesson (like this one) or ended up under the car in the pits picking sod out of their suspension and thanking GOD that the damn thing stopped before hitting the barrier.

As for the car, it suks that he wrecked such an expensive machine, but at the end of the day, Eddie can afford to replace it, and he would much rather walk away from something like this in one peice than be on life support fighting for his life, I assure you.

Sorry my friend.....Innocent until proven guilty -- as it goes in America......

To me it didn't look like he was going into that turn too fast for the car that he was driving...why so much understeer?

The car can be fixed (albeit for more than most cars cost new) and I am glad that Eddie is fine...what would the next installment of Duece Bigalow be without him? :)

im glad he is ok and that’s what is important I don’t care if its $1 or 5 million car as far as the person is ok and its not our money anyway let them do whatever they want with it and wishing him to die just because he crashed a car is simply stupid actually very stupid !!

You've gotta be effin kidding me. He steps out of the car and you can see him swearing at himself. You can see he's absolutely embarrassed about it. His hands are on his hips and he's jerking his head downward. That is the body language of someone upset with themselves.

Since he spent all that time working on Redline and Daniel Sadek is not one to keep his mouth shut about his collection of cars or how much they're worth Eddie is probably more than aware of the rarity and worth of the Enzo. Daniel is the same owner who wrecked his own Carrera GT and then used the shell in the movie to blow it up again. He bragged about that too.

You guys need to give it a rest. It's just a car, it'll get fixed.

If you go on to CNN's website they show the crash from a different view and some close-ups of the damage.
