Looking for something reliable and sturdy, yet slim and stealthy. - The Samsung Ultra Edition 8.4 (Z370) 3G Tri-band looks interesting as it is superslim. Anybody have experience with this? Assuming I want a QWERTY keyboard, leaning towards a BlackBerry Pearl. Heard a new Pearl is coming out with a full QWERTY keyboard (as opposed to two letters on each key). Anybody know when the iPhone will be released? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Want a Vertu Signature? Just serviced, upgraded & sealed with accessories. Show you later Oh & it's about half price....RRP S$14-15K
i used samsung about 2 years back. caused me a bomb at that time, and teh phone eventually gave up after 2 years. it seems samsung phones have some kinda screen problem, regarding with something they call the 'ribbon' IMO, the proper phone, with everything included is motorola or sony ericsson. Nokia's givin my cousin helluva problem, ( he's using a nokia smartphone ). Sony ericsson are prised quite fairly, and i think thats the best phone in the market now.
Nokia is excellent, though some are a bit weird looking. Samsung is one of the BEST. The games (esp. Aphsault Urban) in Motorola are good; I don't understand their 'Hello Moto' advertisements. My Sony Ericsson, the stick used to move and select has some problem and it is awfully slow. My Nokia N-GAGE QD is working fine. Some old Nokia models are also good.
Vik, I have both the pearl and the 8800. The 8800 is a little too big for me. The pearl works great. Both are quad band and NEVER fail on me. Let me know if you want an unlocked one from here in the states, fedex goes everywhere They seem to be cheaper here than asia.
you shld consider the K800, its a good phone and it comes with a good camera, or just wait until N95 is launched, I know i am waiting for its release
The K800i's joystick will irritate the hell out of you - trust me, I have one. Nothing warranty can't fix though.
well, my sister has it, and its quite a breeze to use. . . so she says, and the tennis game is pretty fun
Thanks for all the input guys. Have decided to go for the very staid, but logical Blackberry voice / data combo given the need to keep an eye on corporate email chatter. Will definitely pass on these rec's to my wife though, who is in the market for a phone too. Appreciate all the input.
Anybody have a ballpark figure for a Treo 780p - ie, if you bought if from Sim lim rather than direct from a telco. Friend is trying to get a sense of lowest cost price here, and whether it makes to arb by buying it another country.
I have the Nokia N73 and it works pretty good. It has all the stuff that I need. I recommend this one. Another thing that looks good is the N93i. Don't have one but people said its good. Its just really expensive.
