The 3/4 rear view above of the red series two 250 GTO has the most impressive design to my untrained eye. It is simple but effective and not overdone. The details are subtle and yet mature. It is a design that is very balanced and as a result has aged quite well. Others have tried harder but have accomplished much less... Anybody know what number the car 2 50 is? Thanks! CH
I kinda like this shot--reminds me of the opening shot of "Grand Prix": Image Unavailable, Please Login

Of the non-Ferraris, a few that seem great to me are: 1. MC12 2. Pagani Zonda (but from other angles those mirrors look like bug's antennae) 3. Koenigsegg CCX (doesn't look terribly great from the side, however) 4. Porsche 962 (generally not street-legal.) In my opinion is arguably the, overall, "baddest" looking 2 seat car ever made.
Come on guys. Some of these border on bizarre not beauty. The federal crash protection standards didn't do designers or their cars any favors in this department. When it comes to the treatment of the rear end nothing will ever again compare with a Jaguar XKE Series One Roadster IMHO.
I tried to resist, but, I'm gonna' have to break this little party up BAM !!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree. Most modern performance cars have huge wide asses. I much prefer a more tucked-in tail like on a 330GTC, 275GTB, Daytona, etc. Jack
