still sounds like a rumor to me. first off, that seems to be too cheap by US standards. i highly doubt that Ferrari would "whore" themselves out by having an entry level car with that much price disparity to the F430. secondly, there a those on this board that are anxiously awaiting the F430 LP....which some dealers are also taking deposits on as well. bottom line, nothing's for sure until Ferrari says so!

Anna, I don't think dealers can confirm any orders as there is still NO official car. Nobody knows anything about the car and there is still no official information released from Ferrari with regards to this new model. If dealers are taking orders, it's unofficial and off the regular books.
We know that this new car will be launched soon. It is a V8 and in the price range you mentioned, but not much information is available.

And btw., 125k Euros is equivalent to abt. US$ 166k .

Doug438 was on his way to the Philipines early this month. Ran into Mr. Todt in Taiwan. Doug says wait for the show in Germany, and Ferrari will announce a new car, a V8. This sounds abut right. It will sell for 125k Euros, but that is about 160k US.

This was confirmed to me about a month ago by my dealer. 450hp, hardtop roadster, selling for about 140k, and it will be called the Dino, without any Ferrari badges or name on the car.

 

Gents, let me tell you one thing. At this moment we probably know more than what the dealers know .

 

Price isn't that bad. If that happens, there's going to be a lot of Ferrari owners! I can't wait to see this car.

What model will replace the F430? Isn't it like F540 or something? just wondering.
