Is there a thread on F355 LH fan diagnosis, removal and repair? The local Ferrari dealer observed my LH fan had stopped working while in their shop 6 months ago and solve the problem by putting a new fuse in. It just stopped working but the fuse and the solinoid breaker both seem to be working normally. I need to know where else to look and what is required to remove the LH fan?

Have you checked the thermal switch on top of the LH radiator? That is what triggers that fan to come on. They are about $20 from Daniel.

As for removing the fan it's EASY!

    1) Remove the left wheel

    2) Remove the front and upper part of the wheel well liner

    3) Disconnect the wiring to the fan motor

    4) Remove the nuts holding the fan to the back of the radiator

    5) Take the fan out

That's it. You can have it out in 15 -30 minutes.

Shorted across the sensor lead, ignition on, and fan turned on. conclusion fuse ok, motor relay ok, bad sensor at top of radiator. Note the disconnected connector from the sensor "light blue" at the top of the radiator.

I believe the RH sensor is smaller, and on the engine itself, rather than on the RH radiator. You can ask Daniel at Ricambi to confirm.

Based on my previous reading of the workshop manual, I think this is the sensor on the engine, which feeds to the Motronic and ultimately triggers the RH radiator: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_735&products_id=201043

It is mounted near the oil filter....you'll see a coolant housing it is attached to. The blue connector is how to identify it.
