The leather headliner strip under the door seal is comming loose on my Murcielago. I've marked the area in pink on the attached pic. I can hear a metalic sound when I move it back and forth like there is a loose bolt. The problem is I can't see how to get to it to tighten it. Anybody else have this problem and know how to fix it? This is the long leather covered molding piece that goes from the upper right corner of the drivers door to the base of the windshield. Thanks in advance.

Had the same problem with mine after I had some ding repairs done on the roof. The small panel is held on by plastic plugs that "pop" into and out of place. If they are not squared up correctly when you try to pop them back they can bend or break. My Tech over at Lambo of OC showed me this and said it was pretty common. Hope this helps.

Is that a part(s) that I can just order and do myself or is there a trick to it? I"m about 200 miles from the dealer. Thanks for the reply.

The Tech over at Lamborghini of OC had them in his tool box, so I bet you could call the parts dept. of any Lambo Dealership and they would have them available.

I'm going to visit there again in the summer and think about it again. It makes great business sense. I am concerned if they pass the income tax increase. Damn I miss Nevada!

Property tax relief is popular, but I'm afraid taxing the group most likely to move somewhere else might not collect the amount they were hoping for.

The good news is that the Governor has promised repeatedly to veto any tax increases.

Good shot Andrew. I did not even notice it until a couple of days ago. Given that it has probably been thay way for a while I'll probably get it fixed on the next oil change. late summer. Thanks for the pic.

Actually you took the shot of me sitting in it, I just cropped it and photoshopped it. That was an awesome day, we need another Jantzen Beach run soon.

BTW where in Portland do they do Lambo service? GPI?

GPI and Tonkin can do most things. For factory updates and such Seattle is the closest that I know of. I should have known that I took the picture. Only I could take an out of focus picture with a auto-focus camera.

We're in the same boat.... We are concerned with the taxes and are already looking at houses in others states... .NV, FL, and AZ (while not 0, much less than MN).

It's only a matter of time that our taxes will go up yet again here in MN. Plus if we can move somewhere and drive the cars all year, even better!

A friend just moved back (Colfax, Wisconsin) from AZ. It was too hot in the summer. No fun driving an open car (308GTS) when you're in an oven. He had lived in FL before that (bugs, humidity).

I'll probably stay here. I'm getting my place the way I want it. It seems like there are always things to complain about. I know what they are here.

If Al Gore's right, the climate will only get better. Bring it on!

    Love It!

We are actually still considering keeping something up here for summer trips. My wife is from TX and is trying to convince me that summer at 110 is better than winter at 0. I'm still not convinced.

So when we do move (more than likely at some point), we'll keep a place up north here for summers to get out of the heat! Now if mother nature would take Al's advice and get us out of the teens and twenties, things would be good.

    Hey Tom,

They might have happened when the car shipper was climbing in through the window (remember how tight the transport truck was)- the LOC guys said he also sees these types of dings from people resting their hands on the roof when entering or exiting the car. Had them fixed without a trace.
