    WOWOWOOWOWOWOW!

Looks like something from T2 - I like it!

But for $10,000 I could comission a local metal artist to creat one for my 348... probably at half the asking price :(

MrO's(GruppeM) has been posted before.....look at the increased length in primary header tubes and nice 4 to 1 collector...all of this makes a difference..would love to see dyno numbers. Hmmmmm...no aux. air rails either.........

$10k for the full system sounds about right when you consider the component costs of the headers, exhaust, bypass pipe, etc. Looks great aside from the coffee can exhaust tips. Sure sounds good in the videos though...

I agree, that is the purpose of buying such a system. I hope we see some numbers on this system.

That is a plus, if it delivers decent HP gains ;)

Open headers are probably just as legal & loud... and would save me $10k. Huh.

I'm wondering if this would also fit the 348??? If we had enough people interested (348/355 owners) would they or MrO(GruppeM) do a dealer or distributor price.....hopefully at a 25-30% off retail??? Anyone have any contacts to see if this is possible??

We're an authorized GruppeM dealer, with quanity orders it could be discounted. It would not fit a 348. I will e-mail Mamoru today and see what type of pricing we can get.

    Regards,

    Kevin

    True, but consider...

    Factory 355 headers: ~$7000
    Tubi Exhaust: ~$3000
    Kreis-sieg crossover pipe: ~$2500

With the Saclam kit you get all 3 of those things for $10k. Granted you could swap the factory headers for Tubi at ~$5500 or Kevin's at ~$3500, but it's still up around $10k to replace the entire exhaust system. This kit isn't too far off the mark in terms of price...

Yep your math is right on and exactly what I was thinking. If I found a car that was bone stock, gimme this setup for the track and your in for less than many other piece-meal routes.

I emailed with Mamoru a few weeks ago, and he sent a picture of the same type system, but with more rectangular outlets. It looks amazing.

If you can get some good dyno data for his exhaust along with his ecu and airbox, I'd love to see it.

    I'll request dyno data.

As far as the airbox alone, I know there was a major meet in CA where somebody dyno'd with a 15whp gain on an F355 I don't have much info on it but if you do a search on it you may be able to find the threads that it was discussed in.

    Regards,

    Kevin

I am not sure of hp gains on air box(thru the grapevine dyno..18hp)......but I just got a 5.2 version and it is a work of art.....looks category about 100hp..even setting on the floor....lol.
