Good for you Rob, you picked the right one. I'll take credit for the shine on the Testa. That one was mine. LOL.

who painted her,I'm not real big on show/concour cars but gee that caught my eyes, fantastic, photos don't do it full credit.
The car isn't just for show although I do love and languish the time on her. The paint is original except for drivers front quarter and a blend on the pass rear quarter, right on the back corner. Probably a couple of parking incidents. It has taken years off my life, rubbing the UK crud off the car and applying a few layers of decent protection, but I'm very pleased with the way she's come up. That final layer that cooked your retina's is the Swiss Zymol product. Bloody amazing it is. I ran the car at Philip Island sprints last month, and sustained no damage at all. Even flying bits of melted slicks didn't adhere to the surface. Keeping them that shiny actually helps repel the crap around. It's easier to look after that way. She doesn't see the rain, but I try to drive it at least every two days. (And clean it on the 'other' day!)

Good on you, great to hear of an Fcar out and about so regularly. And youre correct about the detailing...a top notch polish and wax process will keep the finish in perfect condition and make maintenance easier. Depending on usage and weathering, if you polished once a year or so, and applied a coat of wax every few months or so, it will gleam forever

Hungry now......9.22 in NZ. Time for a feed. That's it folks. A great day and some awesome cars. That 1962 blue 250 was to die for. If I had that in the shed alongside the Testa, and maybe, just maybe that wild black 430 with the carbon brakes, I would die a happy chap. Strangely enough, out of all my pictures, the only glimpse of my own car was on the background of the red early Lambo. Bugga!! So if some celebrity or Melbourne Icon turned up in there Ferrari would they be made to pay the $10 enrty fee? Most of the time these awful people get in free to events. What about a AFL footballer would he pay to get in.
I have a confession,I spent the $10s on 2 cans of Baxter Lobster Bisque when I went into the city, just before i got kicked out of David Jones food hall.
I've got my excuse 2 x cans of Baxters Lobster Bisque. As I said happy to pay ,had $10 in my top shirt pocket,no one asked for it.And looking around I bet I could name a few whom did not pay as per the norm, and I'm not talking about the 2 x guys I know whom did much of the work.
