    Hi

Hope this is not a repost - I saw this car for the first time yesterday. I think it only arrived in the country a few days ago.

This is as far as I know the only RHD conversion done by the factory, for a wealthy South African industrialist.

LHD cars cannot be road registered in South Africa so he had it converted by the factory.

I think he purchased it second hand in the UK before having the conversion done in Maranello.

Rumour is that it cost USD 150 000! Well, at least it will be unique.

I dunno, but I'm sure I've seen that picture of that Enzo on the track before. If it is for real, and not a joke, its pretty nice, the Enzo is all drive-by-wire isn't it, a bit of a surprise we haven't seen this kind of thing earlier.

Me too - I think they flipped it horizontally. Unfortunately none of the images showing the wheel on the right are good enough quality to see if the cavalino on the badges prances to the left as is correct...

Yes, probably flipped pic because you can see that the Previa looks to be at the other side of the car (reflection) in the 5th pic, where cavallino on wheels seems to be OK !

Great April Fool, but it got me thinking about this more seriously. Given the amount of weird and wonderful one-offs and conversions that have been done on Ferraris in the past (and I'm thinking especially about some of the monstrosities lurking in the garages of Brunei), presumably Ferrari / Pininfarina / whoever would be willing to convert an Enzo to RHD for someone with enough money to pay for it, and on the assumption that it wouldn't in some way render the vehicle undriveable? I have a memory from another post somewhere that there's some RHD F40s in existence, and I'm sure they didn't come out of the factory that way.

I like it. I dont know why anybody should have a problem with this. Its really ABOUT TIME that this happened. I have been waiting for somebody to do this since the car hit the roads.

But, Im sorry to see it that lacks the iPod treatment... ;)

You can still buy it and import it, but you are not legally allowed to Register and drive it on public roads until the 30 year anniversary of the vehicle build date, well 6 out of the 7 States here in Austraila anyways, only in WA are you allowed to Register a LHD vehicle and drive it ;)
