are those the right numbers? I can't find them in my Bosch CIS parts book. google gets nothing as well, the prefix 482 seems way to high for the CIS injector, they are prefix 437.

Try injectorsonline.com in austrailia. I got them for my Mondial QV from them in less than a week for about $21 US each delivered last year. Same injector. Works well.

I actually installed them without removing the deck lid or the plenum, I didn't think it was possible.(from looking at them)

Question - I've never pulled/inserted an injector before, nor have I seen any posts in the archives that post pics. Do you just pull the suckers out, or do they thread in?

You just unscrew the fuel line from the injector and pull the injector out. It's a tight fit(has a rubber "O" ring around it) so it helps to make a little T-Handle tool that will thread onto the injector. (1/4" pipe thread fitting will screw on the injectors) Not hard to do but keep everything VERY clean, a speck of dirt will cause a leak. (don't ask how I know)

IF they're that tight coming out, any tricks on getting new ones back in without bending/breaking something? LOL....when it comes to fuel, I'm alittle paranoid....Thanks.

+1, I'm sure I read on here where you put a small amount of sillica grease or something similar around the seal first

** Use compressed air to blow around the injector BEFORE removing the old one, you don't want dirt falling into the hole.

Roll the new rubber seal onto the injector until it slides into the groove in the injector. wd-40 helps alot.
I sprayed a little wd-40 on the rubber seal and on the shaft of the injector so it would go in easier.
The new improved seal is green and harder to install than the old black ones but they will go in. On the easy to get to rear bank It wasn't too hard. On the front bank, I had to use the handle of a rubber mallet under the lip of the firewall for leverage and press down on the handle of the injector tool (that I made) and they just popped in. (using a mirror to see what I was doing- the plenum and hood were in place)

** This tool was invented by "RGigante" (from this board) and it is a brilliant idea, it makes it much easier to do, I highly suggest that you make one.
1/2" copper pipe , 1/4 inch threaded pipe fitting and that's it, just solder them together with a propane torch. Mine is a total of 3 3/4" long, was a perfect length. (I need to finish painting it)

It depends on the mounting style of your injector. I can only clarify the non-circlip style like mine. If your injector look like the photo, than they are mounted in a rubber bushing, which is lightly pressed into a steel threaded cup that is then threaded into the intake manifold. I found that it's easier to remove the whole thing from the manifold by puting a wrench on the injector (after removing the fuel line) and removing the injector/bushing/steel cup as one unit and taking it apart on the bench. That way, there is no danger of a piece of that old rubber falling into the engine while simply pulling the injector out by itself. At least- this method worked for me.
