I just wanted to say that you have all been a great influence on me.

Since I started visiting FerrariChat, I have improved my life in these ways:

    1. I have become frugal and I'm saving up for a house and a 360 later on.

    2. I have decided that I will wait to buy my F-car until I can buy it cash.

    3. I no longer feel the need to modify my 350z. Instead I put more effort into my business. I'm happy to say I've never modded it. Not that I'm against modding (I love working on cars!) but it's not the right place to put my money at 21 years old.

    4. I have worked harder and have gone from $70/day average to nearly $1000/day on my websites since the beginning of February. It was partially a change in the way I monetized it (selling affiliate products now instead of using Google Adsense), but mostly a TON of work that really paid off.

    5. I get this strong feeling from most of you that you never give up either. While those around me in Nashville, TN constantly give up, calling people like you LUCKY (?!), I have become much more confident that I'm not nuts. Persistance WORKS.

    6. I have stopped wasting time looking for that tip/method that's going to vastly increase my revenue. Instead I spend my time testing 1 tweak at a time. If it increases revenue, keep it. If it lowers it, I remove the change.

In summary, I think F-Chat is a great place for someone my age to participate. It's full of people who have learned how to get what they want out of life, and what sacrifices it can take to achieve their dreams.

Originally I planned to finance a used 360 after I got my house. NOW I will be saving up until I can buy it cash, but I know that because my mindset has changed, I am now closer than ever to actually getting my 360.

I've seen red/tan. Now I just need to see titanium/black and titanium/red to decide which one I'll hunt down!

    Thanks again everyone!

To anyone who has ever called me lucky, I reply "When is the last time you worked a 100+hr week? It is amazing how lucky you get when you work hard."

Congratulations on your newly found focus and some intelligent decisions. They will serve you well and sooner rather than later everyone will be pointing at you and whispering "Man, that guy is one lucky SOB."

Its good you have learned something on your stay here in F-Chat. I, myself, have learned a lot during my short stay in this forum!

Good for you at age 21. You'll go far with your priorities set straight. Getting your finance on track is one thing...meeting the right vs. wrong girl will be another. Be careful outthere.
..and lastly, owning your house and Fcar outright without any mortgage and car payment would be the best feeling in the whole world.

    Good Luck.

Wait? Ferrarichat made you more productive and want to work? Ferrarichat has made me lazy and instead of working, I look at Ferrarichat.

What website are you running? I'm working on a web-based business myself and always love reading up on how people market and manage them. Feel free to PM me if you like.

I love seeing this thread. This guy sounds just like many of our firm's graduating interns and its that mindset that always seems to be the foundation of success for young people.

And he stayed in a Holiday Inn last night. Seriously ,congrats. F Chat was not arund during my impressionable years, but a $2 picture of a 308 over my desk kept me motivated to study during my frat house stage and needing grades.

I would say I'm more driven lately than before and alot of it due to Fchat. Not just skimming the site, but those that I interact with as well. I haven't slept in 2 days over this idea I have. I have about 30 pages left in a 50 page sketchbook I've been using all for this one idea. Fchat is amazing, it's not hard to find yourself among a solid group of people.

People always ask me why I visit this site and others so often, why I go to car shows and interact with owners, etc etc. I've always been of the mindset if you surround yourself with positive things, then the surroundings you find yourself in are positive. A bit simplistic I know, but when you see the thing you desire most in the world in the metal (I almost said flesh!), your dream becomes that much more real to you. Talking to car owners who have been where you are and accomplished things already are a great learning material. Desire and determination are huge in success, and every one that this site has led me to has plenty.

    Great post.

I dont post often, but I can assure you I read these forums almost daily. Im fairly young (23) and recently came into a six figure income. My initial thoughts were always to just go out and pick up a 355 when the day came. Ive reconsidered this immensely. At this point in my life I can get away with investing pretty heavily and dont have a family and kids to worry about if things dont go as planned. Id prefer to enjoy my ferrari care free than dread the thought of a huge repair bill that I really couldnt afford.

Ive done alot of re-planning based on the financial advice of many forum members.

    Thanks.

It's OK husker, some folks "get it" early in life. Don't cry; whenever we get it, it's better than never getting it at all. What was I thinking at age 21?

As for the song - reach for John Fahey's album "Dance of Death and Other Plantation Favorites"

    Cheers, hank

Well this is certainly a positive for you, PHDEV, which is great.

I think since joining FChat my life has changed as well. My marriage has gone from bad to worse! So it affects us all differently.

I guess Chris has not responded to this thread, though!

I too am venturing into the web-based business and already have one foot in the door. I guess there's no turning back now...

My drive for exotics cars and success is the fuel that keeps me going. Thank you F-chat!

I completely agree with you. There are a plethora of people here, with knowledge and experience that money cant buy, and most of them are more than willing to share it with you. There are peope on here who have experienced the sweetest successes and the most miserable failures.

I agree that this site can be a great resource form someone our age (im a few years younger, 19) who is up and coming in the world.

Im glad to hear that you are getting everything squirt away, and to echo prior comments, im sure you will find that sooner or later, people will be looking at you in your 360, while they whisper to their friend "look at that lucky sob."

It's uplifting to learn how inspiring the F-Chat community has been, but I note no reference to the 'Politics & Religion' forum. Admittedly you don't specify any particular forum, but I am curious: do you read or avoid it?
