    That CLK 63 Black Edition is off the hook.

    A little too pricey at $139k, but it certainly is worth a look given the very low production numbers.

    The problem with the CLK Black Edition is that you can buy a whole host of cars that are much higher end than a CLK for that price, because in the end, its basically just a middle of the line MB coupe with a base price $100,000 less that has more hp and body cladding...

    Not hating on MB, just saying that it doesn't seem worth that kind of price tag.

    If they wanted to do it right, they would have had to do a complete race makover, kinda like a 288 GTO was to a 328 GTB.

    Talk to me - I am considering A CLK63 Black as a daily driver - it looks incredible (not as flowing as an Aston Martin but more meaty). And a bit stealth if it is in black. it has 500hp and is several hundred pounds lighter than the regular coupe.

    What other "host of cars" are you thinking about that could be better as a gonzo daily driver? I am in the market and would love your thoughts
