well thought id bring something positive to the table. i had my gallardo striped to 2wd. it has been a hoot. much more nimble and responsive in both steering and acceleration. it is a simple process much like a 996 about 1.5 hours and is reversible in the same amount of time. the down side is the suspension, it is not set up for the 150 lbs weight savings, but not to worry as Olin has a double adjustable w/ hydraulic lift and Moton is now working on my system while in florida in heffners place. moton will be doing the double adjustables w/ hydraulic lift. my car will be the first. i have also added 997gt3/cgt seats to save another 100lbs. it does not quite feel like a 430 in its drive but very close as the gallardo still feels a little heavy or solid. but if you like ass out driving and your occasional donuts this is a great mod. it is not for everyone as it requires much more thinking in your driving. the only way to compare is imagine a 996tt and a gt2 and how much they differ. for those that like the raw feeling of the drive somewhat like a stradale, minus the constant pinging of pebbles on the floor board itshould be something that shoukld be considered in future builds, i was hoping the super leggera was going to come in the 2wd form, but much to my dissapointment it did not.

Will Heffner be done by next weekend? You should come to Florida and bring it to Sebring for the track days that weekend, it's not far from Heffner, maybe 45 minutes or so I think. I'd love to get a ride in it.

I think you'll probably switch back to AWD after the twin turbos.
At least then you will be able to hook up and go.I spin all four from a rolling start of say 40 mph.
