Great action...I decided to watch the Speed broadcast versus the F1 Live Timing. This should make for a great race tomorrow with 4 evenly matched cars.

Lewis Hamilton is for real... (overstating the obvious)

Good job for Rosberg, Heidfeld, and Webber for cracking the top 10 again. I'm also happy for Felipe that he recieved the pole after the mechanical troubles at Melbourne. Interesting that Hamilton was on hard compunds, weren't the commentators saying how in earlier practice sessions, Alonso tried in two sessions to beat Hamilton's time, but couldn't do it?

Let's see, who pulled this pole out for Ferrari? Kimi?

    No. It was Phil Massa.

    Remember that on race day.

Guess they figured the delayed pit stop like in Melbourne was just too obvious.

Either way spectacular last lap in quali!

Raikkonen takes pole! Alonso takes pole!...wait where's Massa?...Massa takes pole!

Should be a very exciting race tomorrow night. I can't wait.

??? is that your way of saying "ha, take that"?

Lets see how his race goes...From there, he'd better podium the car...else, you'll never hear the end of it :) oh, better hope it doesn't rain...

    Massa's 4th pole in last 7 GP's.

Congrats Felipe. Now, what will Alonso's tactic at the start be? will he move over on Felipe ?

"everyone should drink alot before the race tomorrow....hah water not other things.."-Massa

Guess Kimi hasn't converted Felipe over to his partying ways yet.

Felipe in post Qualifying Post Conference:

    very hot must stay hydrated...

"will be very important to drink lots tonight... lots of water, not other things"

Both he and Kimi laugh, Kimi wipes and hides his face in a towel.

Gives him more credibility amongst some of the American F1 fans that can't seem to grasp the concept that Massa, I mean Phil, has matured greatly in the last 12 months. I guess they don't think that someone named Felipe can do more than mow lawns in suburban Los Angeles.

He beat Fred Alonso, and the "Kimster" today, saved the day for the Scuderia. He can mow my lawn any day.

Phil is my bet to win Sunday. Didn't I say that in another thread?

Counting chickens again Ron? Careful......... Pole is a minor thing... it doesn't mean a pinch of s**t. Start on the top 2 rows and you are right there.

Seriously though, i'm not too proud to admit that Massa hung tough under big pressure in quali, with the time expiring making 1 mistake terminal for pole.

    Well Done Felipe :) C'mon Kimi ;)

And no Safety Car either. The new rules will force a stacked pit stop no matter how far Felipe and Kimi are apart on the track.

That will be a rather farcical time. The line up after the pit stops will be 1 of each of the teams cars in the top 11, then one from each team in the next 11.

Differnet strategies. Alonso said that he thinks the Macs are not up to Ferrari's pace in the long runs. I think i'll be Ferrari 1-2 Mac 3-4 tomorrow.

I have my suit of armour at the dry cleaners. So I guess I am exposed.

I have faith. If the car doesn't break, and his pit crew does not screw up, Massa will win this race. And even if it does rain, Phil has improved in every other category, so why not in the rain? I still can not understand why some of you can't acknowledge what many in pit lane have already admitted, Massa is the most improved driver on the grid (thank you Michael).

But at the end of the day, I do not care which Scuderia car wins, as long as one of them is #1 on the podium.

Pluck pluck pluck. Or is that cock a doodle Phil do? :} Pole means not having traffic in front of you if you get to turn one first. Pretty significant.

Come on guys (and Carol), its late, time to get some sleep. Just be happy that we pissed off Ron Dennis.

i'm getting fed up with McLaren already...the politics...ok, so Hamilton has been taking it to FA all day, then when it matters most, the kid is stuck with the 'less' optimal one lap tire? c'mon. do they think we're idiots?

he may be even more pissed than we think...who's to say FA's car wasn't set up just to take pole(ie, light fuel), as a strategy to get out front first and hopefully hold off the red cars? race pace, i still think Ferrari is well ahead of the pack...
