Well, the admin has closed the thread, without even reading it:

    >>
I don't have time to read or understand this thread, but my most trusted advisors have screamed CLOSE!!!
    <<

So obviously, the only way to resolve certain important outstanding questions is to start a new thread.

    For example:

    >>Is this not the person who has said to MANY people on this thread (myself included in writing) that Driven Exotics in Gilroy is "his" shop? How many here have heard that? PM me for the details...
    <<

I mean, we're talking about a paying sponsor of FerrariChat here, right?

So -- what gives? Is the Admin saying that by closing the thread all these questions just...disappear?

Anybody else find this whole thing a bit strange?

    Fred

Fred- I urged Rob to close it down. No secret there. I said as much yesterday, when Roy and Joe were getting personal, Steve Maman and you were cheerleading from the sidelines and others were starting to get the popcorn ready.
The issue was whether Joe had gone beyond the role of historian/journalist in his remarks about Roy's car. Roy called Joe out, there was a protracted skirmish between them, things started to get personal and went beyond the legitimate issues that were first raised by Roy and I didn't see much value in letting that fight continue, for its own sake.
The thread, as far as I know, was not 'deleted.' But, if you have issues with Joe or Roy, why don't you take them up directly with them? Is this really something you have a stake in, or are you just interested in fanning the flames for your own amusement?

    Whart,

    No, and no.

But people ask me about what's going on, and I don't have the answers. The questions are raised here, then the threads are shut down.

It's happened before, when somebody complained about all the "for sale" posts.

So just shutting down a thread isn't going to fix anything because it will all happen again -- because the important questions have not been answered.

Tho I have no personal stake it this, I know others that do and that have...and still others that will. They all wonder what the heck is going on too.

Simply slamming the thread closed turns it into kind of a broken record that will just keep playing over and over again.

    Cheers,

    Fred

Fred: With due respect, who are these 'others' who need answers to questions that have not yet been answered?
I trust that anyone who has questions for Joe or Roy has the ability to ask them directly.
Since you have no stake in this, I'm not sure what the purpose is of your raising it for these unnamed others. To the extent that questions remain from the previous thread, I'm sure you know how to reach Joe or Roy, to get answers. Or, is there some "public" aspect to this that you want to see aired? Can you state what that is?
Frankly, I thought the other thread got acrimonious and was counterproductive. But, I am neither moderator, nor censor. So, far be it from me to stop you from asking questions. But, I suspect if the object is simply to pillory somebody else here, that will not be tolerated for long. And, to the extent you have no stake in these issues, I have to ask, why push it?

But I already stated it, and I think folks would like to know if a paying sponsor of ferrarichat is lying about having a repair shop.

    Don't you?

I thought that was very clear.

I can answer that very easy.

I HAVE a vested intrested in the shop know as "Driven Exotics" located in Gilroy, Ca. There are 3 shareholders of this California Corporation.

President and Majority Stock Holder is Steve Gleaner along with his wife who is Vice President.

I am a minority Stock Holder.

I do not think there has ever been a secret about that???

Oh yea - the cars were safe and sound before I left. Re your breakfast info, since everyone seems to be grilling you over personal info (eg business interests etc) I figured I could join in?? Seems only fair....

OK, fight fans, I'm sure you've been waiting for this!!! The 12 noon fight at UFC Monterey has been set!!! A no holds brawl with the loser wallowing in a defeat that no honor can be salvaged!!!

    Joe Sackey vs Fred Parorouroud!!!!

    "lets get it on!!"

The latest from Manday Bay in Vegas has Roy a 6-1 favorite in the first fight vs Big Old Al Burtoni. Burtonis request to be able to use a silver wolves headed cane or a barbed wire clad walker was denied! He has been granted permission to wear his always, and ever protective black Lamborghini beret.

Get your bets in now fight fans!!!!
