Bummer, wonderful drive by Kimi in the third stint. Now we have to put up with one of the ridiculous Alonso displays...Massa certainly had a crappy race after doing so well in quali.

One more lap and Kimi would have had Lewis. Great push at the end by Kimi. There's always the next race. I wish Imola wouldn't have been taken out of the sked - next year.

Great racing but my love is still endurance. Headed to Monza for the LMS race next weekend - 51 entries comprising P1,P2 GT1, GT2 - 1000 K of Monza.

(At least FA didn't do a stupid dance - crowd sure shows who their favorite is and it's not FA.)

Agreed, Kimi was pushing the car so hard and easily showed today that he's miles ahead of Massa.

However we can't be to discouraged by the results, from what I've read, the Ferrari cars didn't have any new parts this race from last race so hopefully the development will be a big difference between this weekend and next weekend.

I noticed that both Massa and Raikkonen were putting consistent times throughout the rest two third of the race.

I'm still hugely dissapointed with Massa, though.

Kimi needed another lap he could of done it. Massa will need to do some soul searching tonite.

Lewis does come in 2nd, but at this stage it's still more the car underneath him then any true talent shown today. He did a good job defending then attacking and still awhile off from winning.

For his level of experience, I thought he handled Massa's pressure and at the end Kimi's pressure excellently. Look at Massa, he was the one who screwed up, not the rookie!

I think a Ferrari constructors title might be out of the question this year due to Massa. But a Kimi WDC should hopefully not be a problem. He deserves it.

I hope by the 8th race Lewis is out-pacing Alonso.

    Oh Massa.

Wow that Hamilton is an animal. Wish he drove for Ferrari, I'd be his biggest fan :)

I had high hopes for Massa, but he's a bit disappointing so far.

If Massa keep this up, he's not going to win Rookie Of The Year award.

I'm a Hamilton fan even if he is driving for the enemy, still not a fan of Alonso tho.

That vodafone red seems lik a weird color to me...Alonso definitely looked better in the Renault blue.

Brian, Steve, Tony, Kyle - it's been great chatting with you guys this morning about a good race. At least Ferrari got on the podium despite happenings during the race.

You guys do double time for me next weekend. Tony and Kyle, you guys cheer for my friend Allan McNish in Audi #1 in Long Beach next Saturday for overall again. I'll be cheering for our FChat commrade Rik and his Team Modena Aston for a GT1 with with Liz and Antonio driving the beauty.

    IMHO

    The Good:
Kimi is showing that he too can race with a crippled car and knows how to nurse it home for points. He nursed a car with a potential over-heating problem home on the hottest race of the year. Kudos to him, the Ferrari hope and pride rides with Kimi in '07.

    The Bad:
Massa still has not proven me wrong, he does not know how to race or pass. Massa is only quick if he is ahead, but under pressure, he loses his cool and becomes erratic. He should have let Kimi go by in the beginning when they were side by side. Kimi would have had a better chance of passing Lewis either earlier in the stage or at the end.

    Wishful thinking:
Can we PLEASE have Michael back!!!?? I would rather have JPM race in the F2007 than watching Massa having his ass trashed by a rookie, even if it is a talented young rookie like Lewis Hamilton. Mr. Todt needs to be talking to either Michael or Chip Ganassi right now. Harsh words I know, but Massa just isn't cutting it.

Haha, I guess I missed that comment. I guess Massa didn't learn enough from Michael before he left, when you're on the front row you gotta cut hard into the p2 guy to hold your position :)
