Nabbs - What was with blue painter's tape around your headlight casings? I know usually it is put across the diameter of the headlight to prevent it from cracking due to rocks - but I have never seen it put on the outer edges - Hence my question.

 

I have 3M on most of the car, so I only put tape on the areas that were exposed. Gotta keep black beautiful!

Anybody get any of the spins or crashes on tape?

Nah, i wish i did. I saw the noble spin, the viper spin, the vw gold spin (all in the same corner) And i saw a porsche 944 spin in the downhill hitting the wall by the pits. Not too much damage though to that car, left rear quarter damage.


Any other spins or anything you know of?

 

there was a neon that spun out twice and also barry did a little ass shaking when I was behind him.

 

If your talking about going up Big Bend on the 3rd lap of Run #1, then Yes I got loose at the top......if your referring to me trying to avoid the Subi SVX that wiped out and I almost T-Boned, then I saved myself some major repairs with my accident avoidance technique!!!!

 

Yah that was a bad one. The guy spun in front of Barry who was in front of me, and all 3 of us almost had a nice little meet-n-greet!

 

yup def talking about the top of the hill. The subi incident was nuts. Glad you guys didnt get involved. Lots of mistakes that day at the track. I would have rather run the blue or green group.

 

The Green group had a few people in there that should have been in the Blue group. From what I heard, too many rookies not willing to give a Pass By, causing issues.

That would be a GROUP that SHOWS UP!!!!! Then YES. They can put me in that group. You see Joey....You dont pay the stripper/hooker to STAY. You pay them to LEAVE!!!!!!!!! Shame you couldnt show up. The mud would have contrasted nicely with your silver car!!!!!!

I was at Lime Rock yesterday also. My Lotus 7 is waiting for the final assemble of its new 5 speed transmission so I was along for the ride with some friends. There were several near misses at “Left Hander”. Ferrariguy, you have a picture of the Heritage Ford GT with the #6 on it. I did not see it make on to the track. How did it do? You also have a picture of red Lotus Elise Exige. That is a special edition and quite fast. Most of the Elises did well. A black Mustang i#8 in the White group also did quite well. I did not think the Nobel did all that well. Any info on his times?

lol, actually i think my probation might have ended, im not sure if its from the time of ticket, the time the suspension, or the time of the suspension ending.

 

Sandy -- The GT never went on the track. The red Exige was absolutely SMOKING! That car barely lifted going through the turns!!! The black Stang in my class was on race rubber and was grooving once the tires got warmed up. The Nobel guy said his best time was 1:04, while the other black Z was turning a 1:08! I got stuck behind a slow red C5 and blue RS4 so it was tough to really open it up. It would've been even slower if that silver 360 showed up!!

 

Dont worry Shiv my pal. We can arrange for a proper Probation to be served by you. Dont want you feeling spoiled now!!!!!

The only reason I was going slow is cause I didnt want your vette to crap out and explode into my car AWD for life!

Haha how about we join forces against nabbs. I like that idea I still have a few tricks up my sleeve.

and the Ford GT. I would of taken one from the front, but some woman was sitting in it for like a good 30 min or more, so i didn't want to be ******, so i took a 3/4 shot from the rear.
