    Not so good for acceleration though. If you have a tendency to drag, better stick to stock size

    haha... well do agree in losing some torgue over pickup. But i really cant resist those wheels. Its awesome. Besides the broadness of the wheels could negotiate better over corners. hehe..

    I wouldn't buy HRE's ... there appears to be a design flaw in them. I had a set for my 996TT & speak from experience. Whether this flaw runs across all their wheels or not, I'm not sure. The problem is this ---

    The air valve is conected to the centre of the wheel where they have chosen to create a depression running the entire circumference. The result is that during rain it accumulates a LOT of water. At speeds between 120-180kmph, the resulting vibration on the steering wheel is horrendous & feels downright dangerous.

    I must assume that these wheels were designed for dry roads only.

    ALL reverse three piece wheels made have the same channel. We are currently coming up with a solution for it. It is not an HRE issue, it is 3 piece wheel issue.
