Hello, I am a new member to the site. I have a 1972 Dino coupe, Euro production, and have been looking for proper seat/shoulder belts for several years. These belts do not use the USA-style retractors;they hang loose in the car. I am looking for a complete set, including the black plastic covers that go over the upper shoulder belt attaching bolt. Any information leading to the belts would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have most of the bits? If so, and maybe even if not, these guys may be able to help.

Thanks much for the referral. I don't have any of the original bits for the seat/shoulder belt assemblies. Unfortunately, when I bought the car it only had a generic set of black lap belts. I will call the company's tech line on Monday. Their website didn't look too promising, but you never know. Someone there may have another lead. Thanks again for your input.

Dave - Thanks for the follow-up. My email address is: [email protected]
My Dino parts contact in England is Superformance. I have bought a number of parts from them over the past couple of years. I don't think they have seat belts, however.

My guy sold his last set, got an email from him this morning.

However, there is an extensive list of suppliers of Dino stuff on here somewhere....hang on............. I'll find it.................

    Oh, yeah, here it is.......

some Dino nut posted it some time ago. :D

dig around, one or more of these guys may have something. If you find a set, wouldn't hurt to send them to the ssnake guys for a refurb..

Thanks again for your help in trying to find a source for my elusive seat belts. I talked to one of the Dino suppliers on your list today, Andover Restraints, and they were unable to help. I will be contacting others on the list. Is it possible that your guy in England will be getting anymore belt sets in the future?? He told you he sold his last set recently. I hope that means he might have access to more.
    Thanks, Bob.

Probably not gonna see any more anytime soon. But, I'm sure if he gets some, he'll let me know.

Actually, he's on a parts finding mission in Europe now, I'll email him and let him know you're looking.

I checked out this ebay item. It is a pair of generic black seat belts (no shoulder belts) that seems to fit a number of French cars. The item description includes Ferrari, but the text does not include any Ferrari models.
I couldn't understand every sentence since it written in French!
    Thanks for trying to help!

    It roughly translates into:

Set of 2 NEW 3-point front seat seatbelts made by Britax in the 60's or 70's, extra long, destined for the Hillman Imp Convertible and most other cars. Complete with bolts and washers and two plastic covers for the top mounting.

Great. Thanks for the translation. It now sounds more interesting. I will ask the seller if they can provide additional pics, especially if they can show the plastic covers on the upper shoulder belt attachment, since that part is so visible on a Dino.
