Hey guys and girls(are there any ladies on here?) anyway opinion time, which color do you like best? There yellow is from the cars race days, trying to stay with the originality thing, the dark gray because I'm not a big fan of the light silver most wheels are done in these days. So what do ya think? Regards, Vern

Sorry Guys I see I grabbed the wrong picture give me a minute and I'll get the right one.

Not having seen the yellow wheels I must say I like gray wheels. It looks classy.

Edit - I just saw the yellow - they look good on a Challenge. I would prefer gray on a regular 355.

Vern it is always nice to see pics of your car whether it has grey or yellow wheels.......yellow is really cool but prefer the gray with maybe the calipers done in yellow. I was under the impression that the Speedline wheels on all factory CH cars were white and some teams changed that to the yellow and gray.

Gray all the way. Now here is my question. I have White on yellow. I would like to make my wheels black. Do I powder coat this?

Both colors look good; you can't go wrong.

Now, what would be cool would be to have a tow hook in the full colored shape of the cavallino shield, instead of having the separate shield on the rear.

Hey Bruce, Thanks for the compliment. Yeah all the Speedlines were white originally(when I mentioned original I was refering to when mine was raced in the series) most teams painted them some other color. I have photos of mine in red and in yellow. I haven't seen any of the 355s that were raced with dark grey wheels mostly something a little out there ie; reds, yellows, blue etc. Regards Vern

You can powder coat or paint the only draw back on powder coat is you can't touch up chips or scratches as easily as you can painted wheels. PC is probably more durable than paint but it still can be chiped, Regards, Vern

Xavior...go to Ricambi and click on Challenge(left side column).....you will find the parts(left and right). They work pretty good at keeping intake air temps down.....they are however only available for 2.7 configuration.

Goth you are exactly right....the only change between 2.7 and 5.2 was the top section of the air box.....the bottom is the same......
Thanks for the correction.....OK,2.7 and 5.2 owners this is something good to have....I completely agree w?Group77...it works

As in making horsepower or not falling off
I think if it cools down those BBQ grills for airboxes we have, we should be money ahead :)
