Yeah mate, I was actually. I got locked up for public indecency while wearing those hot pants in the Mall. Nah, I actually went for a short trip to check out my investment properties in Townsville, QLD. Around 2000km return trip from here. Got back this afternoon. Back to to work tomorrow (dayshifts) for 4 days. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.................such a hard life, as Pap sucks back a VB, or two.
I didnt actually. Last time I took the 348 there was in November 2005. Around 3 months after I bought the car. I got my 348 trucked there and back. Cost me AU$800 to truck there and back. Was there for 7 days. I had the best time driving the car in Townsville. Great roads, great scenery and ALOT more girls that loved my Ferrari. More girls than here anyways. Why didnt I drive my car you ask............because there is NOTHING but fuel stops in-between Mount Isa and Townsville. 6 little towns, with 1000 or so people living there. If you break down, you would be stuck on the side of the road for a while before the next car would come along and help ya get a lift back into town. Maybe one place has a tow truck along the way. Otherwise car will be getting towed. Now, I am not saying that my Ferrari would break down on a trip, I just dont think its worth the risk being caught out. Also, it would ruin my trip and I would not get anything done.
