    Hey,

does anyone here has more information on the apparently existing Countach Alfieri? Haven't found anything, except for the name. Is it only a one-off??

    Appreciate your help.

Alfieri is probably the greatest engineer that ever worked for Lamborghini and that is saying something when you consider that both Bizzarrini & Stanzani worked there as well.

Alfieri is the father of the Maserati 250F, 450S and the various Birdcages.

    Joe, to set things right:

    Alfieri created those Maserati cars:

    200S
    250S
    250F
    300S
    450S
    Tipo 61 Birdcage
    Tipo 63
    Tipo 64
    Tipo 65
    Tipo 151
    3500 GT (and its derivates)
    Mexico
    Ghibli
    Indy
    Khamsin

One of the great engeneers of all time. He was either too conservative or too pogressive! That was his fate!

    Ciao!

    Walter,

If you are going to set things straight why did you leave the Bora off of
    "your official list"? ;>)

An oversight I suppose. So what else is missing?

Bob, ...ooops...you are right! Shame on me! So, the BORA was also from Alfieri - but he didn`t like the "green soup" from France in it!

    Ciao!

Not true Walter. He told me he loved the Citroen system. He drove a Citroen.
At high speed I think it's great. That doesn't mean it was the best choice though. But now it's part of the cars character. It's not hard to maintain unless you're an idiot. But the idea of moving seats up and down with a hydraulic pedal is kinda nuts. Thank the lord the windows were spared ...

Yes, he loved the CItroen he drove...but hated this "green-soup"-system in a Maserati! And he was true!!!!

There is no truth to the rumor that when he passed away, instead of embalming fluid that the undertaker used LHM instead.

That's bad. Maybe if you would have said Alfresco.
