    Hi all-

I am planning a trip to Italy with Maranello as a destination. I have been there before (though some years ago) and I know you can not get a factory tour unless you are an owner. One of the people traveling with me owns one and we are hoping to set one up. Does anyone know the process? Is it all through the dealer?

    Thanks in advance,
    E

The dealer has a form to fill out that includes a VIN. They send it in, and the owner will receive notification of the date and time. I was able to bring 3 guests. Allow more time than you think to get there, as you don't want to miss your appointed time, and the traffic can get heavy.

The number of guests allowed to accompany an owner used to be three, but when I went last summer my paperwork informed me that it had been changed to two. When we got to the factory they let the four of us in, so it may depend on the staff giving the tour that day.

actually, there is a number you can call and do it through e-mail. FNA has outsourced factory tour booking. i posted it a couple of months ago. you'll have to search for it as i don't have it anymore.
