Has anyone seen or heard of where I can get one for the 04 575M? Up here in lovely WA the cops are so ravenous about citations that a cruise control would be nice. My right foot seems to modulate north of the 80mph which is not tolerated up here.

Great idea for sure but doubtful with the electronic throttles.

My 550 has a MOMO cruise control. Perhaps you could retro-fit it.

You can see it on the pic of my interior in my profile, left hand side of the steering wheel.

The 575 has electronic throttles and any system would need to be a retrofit that tied into the Motronic throttle control.

I don't know about you but adding on a system designed and built by a teenager to have electronic control of my throttles does not make me all warm and fuzzy.

Open the pod bay door Hal.

I was waiting for you to chime in!

I am serious. Who has another method that would work.

According to Rifledriver no can do.

    I never said that.

I am not aware of any, that does not mean there aren't any.

Ok, the pod bay door is now open.

So, what's available that you know of?

Sorry, also meant to say I wouldn't do it but I should also ammend that to say if the product was built by or endorsed by Bosch for use on an ME system I would consider it.

Ok that that makes good sense.

The pod bay door is still open though!

You can use a brick but there's a problem using it. You can only go top speed! :p

Seriously though, I'm not aware of any cruise control for Ferrari's. There should be at least one owner who have done it that works.

It does surprise me that none of the wizards has come up with a functioning solution for this.

    I found this:

Don't see anything about Motronic interfaces!

Wrong. It appears that porsche uses a Bosch motronic interfaced cruise contriol!

Porsche uses: "Motronic electronic accelerator pedal with solid-state distribution"

    How different could that be?

    More to follow!

Mercedes and Audi use the same system.

That being the case, how difficult could an interface be?

Has to be some system commonality.

I am willing to bet that if someone solves this that there is some money to be made here. Just about everyone I know asks the same question. Why can't Ferrari add cruise to their cars? Not another "exotic" manufacturer ignores this.

    I agree.

    Let's look into it.

I have to call upon the regular wizards here for assistance.

Here's what an M-B unit looks like. Degree of familiarity here?
