so I called Clay Webb at Autohauswebb this morning and inquired about the 355 fiorano. He said they were asking 109 for it. I told him I thought that was high and how he priced the car. He told me fioranos in manual are going for about 120 (which i dont know how hard it would be price the car, since they really dont go on sale that often).

Then I asked him if he knew the condition of the clutch. Hes like it just had the 30k service done. I responded that did they look at the clutch, he said, they checked everything.

I asked him if a PPI was done, he said the 30k service was done. I asked him about the headers, he responded the 30k service was done. I asked him if a compression test was done, he responded the 30k service was done and then the kicker....

hes like "If you are going to ask so many questions DONT BUY THE CAR." and hung up on me......What great service!

When they act like that it is better to walk away.......good indication of what kind of service you would get after the sale, which would be a big fat 0.

This guys sounds like the "ultimate car salesman" no offense to any car salesman on board, but I think we all know what kind of service you would get, and how responsive he would be. Forget about it, run away to the next dealership! You end up paying a little more, but ultimately you would get your questions answered. By the way, those are typical questions anyone would ask buying a Ferrari.

You would think that with the internet these days, dealers, repair shops, etc. would be a little more careful.

If this were 10 years ago he could have acted like that and the only people that would have heard about it would have basically been you and him

    Shivam,
Just buy a freaking 25,000 mile 355 spider with a tubi for around $70-80, and modify it any way you want, making it better than a Fiorano. Then, you wouldn't have to cringe if you put many miles on it, scratch it up or drive the heck out of it.

    or

Buy a high miles 355 in good condition, drive the stink out of it, and sell it in a year or when you find your ideal 355 for the same price you bought it for :D

My 355 is just sitting in the garage, so if you want to go for a ride, gimmie a call...

We should set up an exact time, say 2:31, when 20+ people call his cell and the others call the office.
