Anybody know a source for cf side mirrors for a 348?
Yes....but not for sale...lol I will try and round up an email address for you to contact him directly....they are absolutely awesome.....1st Class workmanship.
You are right...there is a visable difference.....what I was wanting to know from Bruce is whether or not the 355 mirror studs would match the 348 mounting plate.
I have the guy off ebay for the f355 carbon fiber mirrors information he sent me a sample of the carbon fiber to see if it would match my carbon weave from my other carbon parts his name is Mr.Eike Sauerteig fax 49-36204-37-96 phone 49-172-3-48-65-32 from germany email: [email protected] Hope this helps also they do not fold so keep that in mind.
power will no longer work, right? I want to get these also, group buy anyone? Would the weave match the Valance front lip? I think that combo would look nice!
power doesn't work after changing the switch anyhow, so sign me up Can anoyone confirm the weave compared to Valance's front ss like lip?
Bruce I would post but can't for 2 reasons...(1)shop camera is broken (2)I am not subcribed and am not allowed too... They used to be on eBay but haven't seen them lately.....try emailing to the posted email address, or maybe one of the brothers has a pic....
I'm bringing some deep-discount OEM Stradale mirrors into stock in the coming weeks. I don't know if they'll fit, but it might be a nice look. In my opinion, the thin stalk on the Stradale mirror would visually complement the cheesegraters.
Great idea Daniel....I agree....I had been looking to do this, but since I didn't know if they would work I bought the 355 CF ones.
As of you who are waiting on carbon fiber parts know, our plate is pretty full at the moment, so I don't think we are going to make carbon mirrors in the near future. That said, we do have a pair of 355 mirror bodies that I have been fooling around with for a while. My plan was to make just the larger part (that holds the glass) so that the mirror could still fold as stock, and accept the stock glass and motor. The base could be painted black. Maybe a full version would follow. Some of our first and probably most successful production parts were side mirrors for Ducati Superbikes, so we're intimately familiar with mirror housings. Great idea Chris...I understand your plate being full, and with all the work needing to be invested in bringing this project to completion you would have to sell sell sell a bunch to recover your cost. Thanks for the post.
GUYS The Weave does not macth its is a larger weave so I did not buy for that reason again it does not macth Valance , MaCarbon nor does it match factory ferrari weave its a LARGER WEAVE but if your going to paint them who cares. I like the stradale look.
So I am guessing a 360...Since no other Stradales were made in other models..WOW!!! Just thinking---Wouldn't a 355 Stradale be awesome car!!!!!!!!!!!! Why Mr. Ferrari did you not build one!!!
