Does anyone know where I can obtain the trim plate that is on the console that has the fan switch (knob) and temperature regulator switch (knob)?
The plate on my car was completely painted over in black. Why, I don't know!
I also could use the other plates that are on the console for the rear defroster, wipers and heater controls. But I'm mainly looking for the a/c switch plate.
Does anyone know where I can get a new one? My car is a '84 308.
Thanks ahead of time for any help.

I think Verell was working on getting new decals for those plates, I don't know the current status though. ( I need one too)

I too need a single A.C. trim plate for my 328. I ordered one from Dennis McCann & when it arrived it was black plastic with blue paint..very similiar but the 328 has a back lit feature and the light shows through the blue when the lights are on. Unfortunately the solid black plastic from McCann didn't work. I sent it back & they're checking for others. I thought about taking the A.C. face plate off & just repainting the blue since that is all ths is worn off. Anyone else tried this?.

I had the same shine thru problem in my Alfa Romeo. There is a black bulb cover that is supposed to cast light down over the vent controls but all that lit up was the little black cover. I bought a can of that high temp black grill paint and painted the INSIDE of the cover with it. It blocked the shine thru perfectly.

Just a cheap fix if you can't find what you need otherwise.

OK, I think I found what I'm looking for except for two switch plates. It seems that no one has the long rectangular heater lever plates. A few places have the entire switch available but no one sells the face plates alone.
The other plate I'm looking for is the single plate that is to the right of the 3 switch plate that has the fan, hazard, wipe speed switches. On my car the plate reads rear-def. The plates that are available are for the early cars that have the antenna switch located where the later cars have the rear defroster switch located, as is my '84.
So, does anyone know where I might find those 2 switch plates?
Thanks again for your help. I'm trying like crazy to finish my 4 (long) year restoration!
