Great Pics guys!!! Im still sad I missed this event. I can't wait til the summer events (especially the fathers day meet) Funny story: I was sitting at work (in mall) and I hear over the mall announcements at about 1:30pm "Could the owner of a Yellow Ferrari please move your vehicle imediately or it will be towed" I laughed so hard when I heard that. Poor guy was probably just showing off his car in front where he wasnt allowed to park. Hopefully he got it out in time.
Looks like it was great fun at aberdeen today. It sucks that i didnt go. Was this just basically a F car show? And was there any grand opening sale? sry if im being nosey, i am a huge Ferrar F1 fan and half my closet is is F clothing.
Vasco, Its ALL custom! 6 or 7 coats of Brandy Wine Kandy paint 9Kosmic Kolor) by House of Kolor over base silver then 7-8 coats of clear. The paint + clear is almost 1 mil thick and changes color from a dark candy apple to a burgundy to a black as you walk around the car. All the trim has been painted gloss black including the the side strakes on the door panels and black powder coated rims to match. Paint and bodywork have taken 6 months! Comes out of paint shop next week for final tuning and interior renno's. Lots of other mjr upgrades to suspension, brakes, gearbox and top end of motor.... Bumper and headlights were custom designed by myself with the help of the owner of hzemall customs. You Bet! too bad didn't have more time to chat around the cars. We had quite the Fchat crowd there today. Seeing a 1/2 mile or so of Fcars flying in formation down Hwy 99 with the Royal Hudson steaming away for the first time in 8-10 years, very cool. because this car is almost 20 years old..... and although i love the lines and sound of the car (at hi rpms) and would never dream of selling it, many of its parts were just plain old and worn out...... so i had them modded and when it came time to repaint, i decided to upgrade a few other old parts...like the underpowered engine, the old gearbox and the less than adequate braking and suspension system etc.... this is what my Testarossa looked like below right after i had the new front bumper and headlights done.... A logical progression i guess... and something I have spent literally hundreds and hundreds of hours to create something highly unique and very road worthy.
