McLaren Mercedes is currently trying to hire Ross Brawn: http://www.bild.t-online.de/BTO/sport/motorsport/2007/04/12/mercedes-brawn/anwerbe-versuch.html Could that mean, that MS might join as well for 2008? After all Mercedes launched his career in Group C and he was always a close friend with Haug & Co. (they were always there celebrating his titles).
RUMORS RUMORS RUMORS... I dont thinkthat they will ever move from Ferrari.. Luca will do anything to keep them+ all the funs..
I mentioned Mercedes/McLaren, not Ron Dennis. Remember Ron Dennis already sold a huge part of his ownership earlier this year. Who knows, he might retire at some point. His blood yes, but not so sure about his mind anymore: His forced departure left a bad taste in his mouth and you can also see that by him declining the offered Ferrari team manager role. In the interview with Todt it becomes quite clear that Ferrari really wanted/expected him to be more with them this year and MS distanced himself from them. All is not well anymore.
Its good for RB's future prospects. Honda is claimed to want him and now McLaren. Will be a good bargaining chip when RB goes to Ferrari and says Honda is offering me this amount money and responsibility - you better match it. I wonder if RB has recruited Willi Weber as his agent? I can sense Machiavelli in action.
All valid points here. It does make you wonder. Still, I think MS is having more fun playing house... CH
I heard Ross is gonna sit down with Ferrari and discuss all options before making any decisions with anyone else. i don't doubt Mclaren wanting to hire him but I think he'll come back to Ferrari.
You have got to be kidding, what is this? A beauty contest? Massa is a nicer guy?!? Do you want to watch him race or do you want to sleep with him?!? JPM has forgotten more about how to win a race than Massa will ever know.
Your funny . Many people including myself have a disliking towards JPM and would rather not have him race for my team because he is an @$$ and he should stay in NASCAR where somebody will kick his @$$ both on and off the track.
Each to his or her own of course. I don't like drivers who are spokesperson for their team and prefer drivers who speak their own mind. That means my favourite drivers are often seen as aloof, arrogant or loudmouths, but I take that any day over a robot who just touts the company line. I like characters who aren't as polished, a bit rough around the PR edges and not quite ready for mass consumption.
First off let me welcome you to FChat! Kimi needs subtitles for the press conference and while the whole world was paying tribute to the King leaving his subjects, Kimi was on the loo and told that to Brundle when asked. Doesn't get much rougher than that.
Let's see... James Hunt Eddie Irvine Jacques Villeneuve Mark Webber Kimi Raikkonen Jenson Button Have I got it? Anyone else?
