Trouble loading pics today on F-chat?

    I've tried to load a few pics today and when I try uploading them with the "Manage Attachments" icon, it acts normal but after a few seconds I get an error message in the upper left corner that says "image upload failed".

    Anybody having trouble loading pics today?

    I got the same thing before, the problem was my pictures are larger than 800X800 you must make sure that the pictures you're uploading are 800X800 or smaller also make sure that they are jpeg, jpg, gif, png format.

    Just tried loading some small pics under 600 X 600 and still get an "upload of file failed".

    I also notice that out of all the websites I frequent, this is by far the slowest. Maybe time for a better hosting company?

    I can only upload pictures from now from a URL, it will just saying uploading please wait if it's from my computer.

    Oh, I just saw this thread after sending a message of the problem. I tried both "from computer" and "from url" several times and only 500pix. No go at all.

    Oh, well, I'm sure they will have it fixed soon.

    I experienced the same thing last night well after the time the last post on this thread was made. I too was loading smaller photos from my computer and got the same message as everyone else. I am glad to know that it wasn't just me that couldn't load photos. I'll try again this morning and see what happens. I was just trying to share some neat photos of 430's and other cars that I took at Monza last weekend during the LMS race.

    same problem in australia and austria !! i think its not a regional server problem !

    Yesterday we had slowness issues that I fixed last night, but I think my fix also is keeping us from uploading images. I appologize. I think Jennie is still at home and I can walk her through the fix, give we a few minutes.

    Speckled King Snake. Was playing with the dog back yard and he was just sitting there in the grass. I had a pet Speckled as a kid, so immediately knew what kind it was. Mia was very interested in it. We have to be somewhat careful as we have woods and a creek in our backyard. Mostly poisonous Water Moccasins (Cottonmouths), but also Rattlesnakes, Copperheads, and Coral Snakes.

    They don't bother you unless you bother them, so I pick them all up and tell them I'm not going to bother them. Their hearing isn't very good. :D

    This site has been VERY slow this week. It took me long enough just to get to this page, and I can't get to any others at the moment. Frustrating!
