Sweet little car - pity the description (3 litre 12 cylinder) doesn't quite match the car!

i just need to say it again....as i'm so totally flabbergasted by this comment...

    you REALLY have no idea!

what a stupid thing to say!

    how about supply demand?

there are more GT4s than Glass GTBs (which are the only ones getting big bucks)....but more importantly, GT4s are, and always have been (and probably always will be) very unpopular. (relatively) whilst everyone (metaphorically) would have a GTB

man...i tell ya what....the crap that comes out of your mouth!..

    furthermore...show me a glass GTB that's sold for $160k! (that's your math)

AND....let's forget the glass ones...they're very desirable and a classic....1/2 of the price of a steel GTB for a GT4 might be closer to correct.

i know some good ones that can be bought right now for in the 40s...and guess what? there's no hurry...there are no buyers! ...just me.

is it any wonder that you have almost no creds around here when you come out with comments like that?

I know of a beautiful aussie delivered car with no stories for sale...valves done...gorgeous car. He's asking $70k. It's been for sale for 3 years. hmmm...nuff said.

$40k for a good GT4 is right on the money IMO.

PP would an otherwise great car with a 'story' put you off though?

Were talking a relatively uncollectable unloved Fcar here..if one was in EC but had at some stage had a mild shunt would you worry?

and to add to that...it's just a matter of making a price adjustment.

i'm yet to find one without a story, btw.....30 year old cars usually have something!

unless you find a car like the glass GTB goober bought...man!!!

Half get one? Flog off the buzz box WRX and step into a Ferrari malaka!!! :):)
There is a huge misconception that ALL Ferraris are expensive to buy. I hear it all the time here. When I tell them they can step into a Ferrari for $50K+, they seem shocked! People spend more money on HSV's ect......that will be worth half what they paid for it in 3yrs time. I tell them get a Ferrari and they probably wouldnt lose any money at all over the same period of ownership if they look after it. Whatever rocks your boat I guess. :)

GT4's will never set the world on fire and are not collectable. They've been "selling" for $40k for over 20 years now.

still much better than a Mondial IMO.

i dont get how Mondial's change hands for anything more than scrap value (i dont actually know if they do), i reckon a nice Dino 308 would be better to have than a Mondial.

I would also much rather a nice 308GT4 over a nice Mondial. :):)
