well it's not...1/2 of $120k is $60k. just to further educate you, the difference btwn the $80k you said is what i'd have to pay and your NEW figure of $60 is a whopping $20k...now even if your figure of $60k is right, and it's not, last time i looked $20k was a LOT of money. and just for your edification, the difference btwn $160k (twice what you originally claimed a GT4 was worth and therefore=to a GTB) and the $120k you now claim is a WHOPPING $40k. amazing....if your lips are moving.........!!! edit: that was another back pedal of yours.

Listen idiot.. I said you need to think a GT4 is worth about half a GTB.. and I said a GTB in the condition you want your GT4 to be in... is well over $80k.... meaning your offer of $40K is way off. read it and weep... engage brain before mouth, fool.

fwiw it took me a couple reads but FFs statement wasn't that a GT4 would be $80k+, but that a 308 in the same condition you are wanting a GT4 for would be $80k+. dammit though, that $30-35k GT4 i nearly bought 2 years ago was in pretty reasonable condition... not concours, but certainly very good for a 30yo. heck, i'm 30 and i need a bit of maintenance i reckon.....
