you can't see the difference?? anyway...just so everyone knows, i don't care if FF calls me an idiot or a liar....i'll always have the last laugh...cos i deal in the facts....FF makes things up as he goes. so just to be clear.....nothing worries me. you can all feel free to call me what ever you like
dumb, i've never met you. a BSer, well it would be slander if it wasn't true. and as for STFU, i'm sure we've all thought that about BOTH of you (occasionally)
can't comment much, i was scanning as i haven't been around for a couple days, but i when i read stuff that doesn't make sense the first time i usually read it a couple times, so you're right also in that i wouldn't have "got it" the first time. i do, prices are inflated by $20-30k on average lately for 308s for some reason, will be interesting to see if it levels out soon. recently (6 months ago?) i made the observation that 308s have never lost money since rolling off the showroom floor... seasonal adjustments and exceptional good/bad examples aside, they've always been right on the money in line with a brand new car on CPI increases.
No way I would be selling mine for that. Someone might though, if they are desperate enough. Just someone who has been through the experience many years ago, you would be hard pressed paying that sort of money and not having to dump another $10K on top, unless you are handy with the wrench. But that's my experience with buying a GT4
i've always said never buy one of these cars without 25% of the purchase price set aside for the first year of maintenance.
well that's the thing....you don't really want to sell it...which is fine. they guy who told me he wants $70k for his has had it advertised, on and off, for at least 3 years. the seller can ask what he likes...that's his right.
and now Moretti says.. " so STFU and stop questioning anything I say" Are we to believe the moderators can abuse us like this and are not to be held accountable for their actions?
which makes my math and reasoning spot on... I reckon a good GT4 is asking 60k right now and taking offers... a mint one is more.
"asking" is right. for a GT4 the people writing the cheques command the market, unless some bizarre tragedy befalls the human race where they suddenly become attractive.
we're comparing GT4 to 308... whether it's asking or getting, the relationship is about 50% eitherway
true, but ok here's a real question for you.... mechanically speaking how much more of a car is the GTB/S than the GT4?
