Saw this pop up a few days ago....just wondering if anyone has any first-hand (or second-hand!) knowledge of this particular car. I am fully aware that the "history" significantly diminishes its value, but if the repairs were done correctly and the car is straight, I would be ok with that. Actually I would be pleased, as it just makes the car more affordable for me! Also, what about issues titling it as it appears to be a gray-market car?

decoding the VIN it's a USA/Japan car so there shouldn't be an issue there. I'll agree that value should be lower than usual, I'd try and get as much info on the accident and repair before pulling the trigger.

T Coupes are very rare; not sure this adds any value however. But if you want a T coupe, you pretty much have to settle for what you can find and put whatever money it takes to fix it up.

I am by no means set on a t coupe....I actually have been leaning more towards a 3.2 cab. But I do like the coupes as well, and I think I would be willing to endure the additional mantienence issues and expenses of the t compared to the 3.2 in return for 40 more horses and the berautiful sound of the 3.4 liter engine.

I like the coupes better because of the extra leg-room. I think the T is supposed to be a better designed car, but the maintenance is exponentially higher too.

If you're looking for a nice 3.2 cab, PM me. I know one with about 20K miles that will be coming on the market very soon and it's in very nice condition. It was bought with 16K, and I put over a thousand of the 4000 that was put on it since the current owner bought it last year.

David - you have a PM

As for the leg room issue, is it additional leg room for the front seats, rear seats, or both?
