All I have to say is GO SABRES!!! :)
mixed I live in Dallas but am Canadian and the stars are playing the Canuk's the stars seem to like to take it to the 99/100 point before pulling out a small miracle like the O/T win last night...
Senators.............they have been knocking at the door for 10 friggin years now! If Emery can stay strong they have a good chance, too bad Muckler and company let Hasek go after only 1 year. If Detroit wins the cup the Sen's are going to look like assh*les for letting him go!
I swear the Stars are doing this to torture me. (BTW Jimmy I'm having a few people over tomorrow to watch the game if you want to stop by.)
Go Flames.... It wasn't looking good after the first two games but now the flames have the Red Wings on their heels.
Why? You should be happy if a Canadian team wins this year. -Sens-Canucks-Habs............ whoever just be happy if it ends up north of the boarder its been a long time since you guys have won it!
92-93 it was the Habs, but so what they arent in it this year. Calgary is going to win the series against Detroit if we win this game, and its looking good going into the second period. If the NHL would just move teams out of places no one cares about hockey the league would be way better off.
Better for the Leafs or, god forbid, even Calgary win the cup to keep it in Canada. Sorry about your Leafs affliction But I hear you - who could cheer for anything out of Ottawa?
Not many hockey fans from south of the Canadian border are there? In the unlikely event the Sabres don't win I guess my second pick emotionally would be the Canucks. I thought Detroit looked good heading in but letting Calgary have two games in the middle of the series didn't look so good!
I disagree. There are quite a few hockey fans down here. Not as many as football or baseball, but still a fair amount. I spent all night last night watching the Stars/Canucks game (GO STARS!!) and then going to wach a friend play ice hockey in a rec league. There are hockey fans down here, they just don't surf F-chat.
