I'll pick up my car in Maranello next month.

What is the most fun route through the Alps? I have driven the Brenner many times, but only once in a Ferrari.

In car magazines I keep seeing pictures of mountain roads with great turns. I'd like to drive one of them. Preferably one with not so much traffic. Years ago I drove from Lake Como to St. Moritz and continued to Lichtenstein. That was a nice drive.

It doesn't matter where the road leads me since I have to take the car back to Maranello for shippment home anyway.

    Thank you for your help.

    Sorry,
Really no idea of where you want to go through the alps? Many completely different options available. Gotthard Pass is a great one, for example...

Like Eugenio says there are a million and one passes through Switzerland. Personally I'd look for the little passes. The Gottard and San Bernadino would not be my first choice for a fun drive they are the two main north south connecting passes and are often very busy. On a holiday weekend you could sit for hours there. Avoid if possible

Do you get Evo car magazine. (British) They drive through the Alps for their articles sometimes and have written about the routes they prefer.

Try the dolomiti - lots of great roads.
go the autostrada to bolzano then passo di costalunga (karerpass) that connects the beautiful areas of the rosengarten and latemar, go to passo pordoi - lots of great turns, passo sella or passo falzarego. try not to drive on weekends because it may be crowded then.

Oh that's a no-brainer. Drive the Furka Pass and Grimsel Pass. Preferably on a weekday before 9am so you can beat all the tour buses that will get in your way. If you can't get there before 9am, get there after 6pm, when all the tourists are eating dinner. I go back every year just to drive these passes. You'll be glad you did!
