A somewhat common topic this but there is a bit more to this one and I am wondering if anyone has any idea what the problem is Friend has a 430 spider, was driving and check engine light came on, engine started to run rough, anyway takes it to the dealer, who take out all manner of diagnostic equipment, seems that cylinder number 6 wont fire and the diagnostic equipment doesnt seem to show up anything. Car has 8000 km's on the clock and to me this sort of problem sounds to me like there is something internally wrong in the engine, anyone have any opinions?
Start with the cheapest fix, either a faulty spark plug, faulty spark plug lead, faulty coil pack/distributor cap (not sure if they have individual coil pack or a distrubitor cap?) faulty fuel injector or a faulty engine ECM Must be a back yard dealer if he couldn't atleast give your mate that information
Well I am assuming that they have tried most of those already, they have had the car for a little over a week, I personally reckon its probably the ECM or an internal problem.
