Has anybody replace his own clutch on a F360, Manual or F1.

All I know is that it is a big job, much bigger than the clutch on a 355. I think it's a bigger job than the major on a 360, but not sure. I'd love to see pictures...

Wouldn't you need an SD2 to do an F1 clutch on a 360?

I saw my car twice during the major which included a clutch replacement which I opted to do even though it was only 50 worn to save on having to tear into the whole thing again I dont think it is a DIY job for the average home mechanic

Technically not a difficult job, but to do things correctly you DO need a SD2 tester to correctly set the PIS ("Kisspoint" or Point of Initial Slip) and to reset the wear indicator.

If the wear % indicator is not reset, your new clutch's wear will start at the number that it had stored and will give the false impression of wear and/or other problems.

Is this true for manual clutch, F1, or both?

Only F1. Manual does not have electronics there. Just a fluid bleed on re-assembly and one after test drive and you are done.

Hello good afternoon, I need a disc and a clutch plate for my 360 Modena 2001. Can I use these manual transmission parts since my car is an F1? I'm having trouble finding these parts at a good price in the US
