Yet no more than a year old a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano of the Swiss, price of 300,000 Euro, was absorbed by flames on the Bleskolksingel in Almelo through unknown cause. They watched fire come out from under the hood when stoped at a traffic light. by the time the fire department came, the car could not be saved.
that's one "hot" looking car! what a shame - i hope he goes to the front of the Q for the replacement.
they will get a replacement car from Ferrari because they are such good clients (they own the only Fxx in the Netherlands)
is it just me or do new ferrari's have an insanely high ratio for going up in flames as compared to any other new automobiles?
ditto!!!! How many other makes offer a fire extinguisher as an option, and one which is proving to be a very popular and covetted.
How many have been delivered? 500? Thats 5 in 500 in 6 months. Or.... 2% per year or.... 20% in 10 years. Is this the new math?
Hope he is okay. Is this the reason these cars are trading for over $500K now?!? I just read the article of the car in Car & Driver and I can not wait to ride or drive one!!!!
Gallardos, too, it would seem (for example): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe_1EqmQSpY & http://www.wreckedexotics.com/gallardo/gallardo_20060809_001.shtml
